Honestly this low key not super edited review was amazing. Felt real and genuine. Maybe take Lego up on those 37 sets and just make more low key content like this for them. They don’t even have to be this long too! Then you can focus on the Lego city more? Just a thought. Great work man!
Growing up in the 80s, Batman '66 was on TV all the time and I adored it. I ordered this set on Black Friday from Toys'r'us effectively tax free and I can't wait to build it with my kids. I don't care about the lack of features as it keeps the price down and this will be a display model only. Lack of Robin is a shame but I already have one from the 66 Batcave, one of my favourite sets I own, so I can live with that. I am disappointed by the lack of print pieces though, as stickers are a real pain when you're 50 and your close-up eyesight is degrading... Holy Awesome Model, Batman!

this is a set that I definitely want to get my hands on. I loved watching reruns of the show as a kid. I agree with you that they really messed up not including Robin. The set looks amazing. I asked for this for Christmas so let's see if we get it....Great review!!
Nice job with a great set, amazingly accurate in the world of Lego. I like that idea of keeping the manuals English but down loading the language that applies to your country , i guess this skirts the law here in Canada and Mexico but saves Lego on printing cost. Better then no manual at all, which is a crazy idea.
Yes this set is amazing! I have it and I love it. I’m a big fan of the Classic TV series Batman. The doors are supposed to open so that does bother me about this set. I also wish it came with Robin! And steering would’ve been nice. Also needs the right steering wheel. It is not a full circle one in the show. It’s shaped like a horse shoe.
The lack of working steering, open/closable doors, no robin and over use of stickers really let this build down for me, lots of missed opportunities. The '89 Batmobile was waaaay better IMO.
Dang, I got the one that was 300 some odd pieces. That's all I'd want, something minifigish in scale. EDIT: Wow, seeing the set like a quarter or w/e complete really reminded me how much I love the creator expert car builds. So much fun. I really wish I had more room to get pretty much every such set, plus all the technic sets.
While steering and other play features are cool, these models are geared to adults, and how many of us play with the models once done? Even with the Ecto-1 which has amazing play features, I played with it for a few minutes with my girls and then placed on display.
You have to watch the old series . Yes the doors should open. I missed out on the comic con one and the bat cave version. I do own the version that came with the joker though. It was a very nice build . I'm just not sure I want to pay a steep price this time around. Great video otherwise.
My instructions has 1 page that wasn't cut & isn't numbered, it was folded into the book but unfolds out bigger than the book,bit weird it got through with lego quality control
I have this all built the main disappointment wss there is no steering mechanism Surely this was some type of oversight by the Lego r'n'd department . Other than that ita a great build

I’m following up on this bad move They’re giving me points but no boat I’m going higher up customer service Lego Toronto Sherway store got 40 ships but just 35 lifeboats Was there a production issue AnywYs Just venting Trying to get thelifeboat I’ve stood by Shackletons grave in S Georgia Without the James Caird lifeboat no survivors likely The lifeboat is key I told them very bad marketing decision no lifeboat and minifigs with main build

Stickers are a make it or break it on a Lego kit for me, this one should have had printed tiles

If only they made that piece at the front in time form rather than just with studs on top, then the model would look so darn sleek.

Really wish it'd had a Robin. The steering I don't care about, once I get this it'll just be a display piece so play features aren't important to me.

The 1966 Batmobile had opening driver and passenger doors. I can’t understand why Lego didn’t put opening doors on this model

The reason of a Lego set just like that one the LEGO set number is 392 I don't know if the other two LEGO sets are the same but they are 390 and 391
