It's almost uncanny how similar Dave's comedy and vocal mannerisms are to Geoff's. Jake admitted on the podcast that a lot of his humour comes Dave. Makes you wonder how deep this trickle-down laughonomics goes.
The Jim Kelly joke is funny because it makes the audience think that they have a cameo in the episode, then we get faked out. When a TV show goes to great lengths to explain a famous person's tenure, you expect them to appear in the next scene.
30th Birthday is one of my faves. "Nah, bad you" has crept into my lexicon and the idea of Amir's father be awarded a congressional medal for dishonor still makes me laugh
Almost all of my friends haven’t watched jake and Amir only in passing. And so much of my vocabulary is just references to jake and Amir but no one to appreciate it.
Jake has said he's the one who introduced them to Streeter, who was in charge of hiring people at the time. Streeter even half jokingly said hiring the Rosenbergs (I think Jeff in particular) was a mistake in retrospect lol
i love these its like a link to my days of 2010-2013 which were prime . Also i love the company you guys bring im you seem so much more genuinely happy.
I saw old episode of Impractical jokers the other day and Rosie was just sitting in the back of a shot. I turned to the other people in the room and asked "why is Jeff Rosenberg on Impractical jokers" and no one knew who that was. It was you though Rosie. I caught ya!
In the series, Amir always hurts Jeff but is afraid of Dave. Based simply on this video, it seems like the dynamic is similar. Dave seems to be the tough guy, and Amir interacts with Jeff more. Dave''s falsed hit Amir twice so far. I'm only finished with the Citizen Arrest bit.
@@Aomicplane I feel like there's a mildly confrontational relationship from both sides. Notice Dave clearly not being super comfortable and wanting to take a quick break halfway through, and Amir kind of aggressively brushing the request off
@@Aomicplane I think it happens in a group of male 3 people or over. There tends to be tension. But they're friends enough to work together over all these years

He also dies in bread, which is one of their greatest episodes ever. It’s in my top 5 videos to use to ease someone into Jake and Amir
Gimme the list, I need it
For me it is snakebite
@@JuiCeBoX19 "Who(Hoot) gives a shit" is classic.
Right... of course, I know.
The bread one gets me every time
When Amir paused in the middle of my favorite line, "Hashtag, hash bag," my heart sank. Thankfully he corrected his error.
The Rosenberg "He's dead" is low key one of the best bits in the whole series
Their vibes are so different. One is like chaotic bro and the other hipster with a life you can't really track but it seems cool.
“Dear Amir, DIE. Go Bills. Love Kyle” The delivery never fails to kill me.
I've used the line "hashtag: hashbag" ever since this episode.
#douchebagbytheseashore
Same!

The vocal mannerism.
@@MrEquusQuagga Excuse you.
I thought the same
This is a poor comment, all things considered.
I like how at around 13mins they’re both crossing their legs but just mirrored
16:44 Rosie does the knee slap and stomp thing Amir talks about haha
Oh yeah, nice catch! XD
Dave has this uncontrollable urge to hurt Amir and that … really resonated with me
LOL
The rewatch series is awesome, love hearing the guys insight on the show, the filming and editing process!
My favorite line in Citizens Arrest is when Amir is like “…and now I know the truth about you!…. You’re a drug”
Dave is as chaotic in real life as I always assumed he’d be.
The Jim Kelly joke is funny because it makes the audience think that they have a cameo in the episode, then we get faked out. When a TV show goes to great lengths to explain a famous person's tenure, you expect them to appear in the next scene.
I have to believe this was their intention when they wrote it and they just straight up forgot why it made them laugh at the time.
@@auspistic I was thinking the same thing
30th Birthday is one of my faves. "Nah, bad you" has crept into my lexicon and the idea of Amir's father be awarded a congressional medal for dishonor still makes me laugh

Almost all of my friends haven’t watched jake and Amir only in passing. And so much of my vocabulary is just references to jake and Amir but no one to appreciate it.
its funny to see you guys realize that youre like the greatest comedy writers of all time
These are some of the better guests you've guys have had. Y'all four all have chemistry
"He's dead."
God, I loved that line.
sprinkle it on a Doobie is one of those insanely smart dumb lines
If the Kermit shirt didn't make an appearance I was gonna riot.
My favorite parts are the “I told you so” glances from Amir when he says “I hope your not Alive to read this”
And Jake acknowledging it lol
it literally took me YEARS to realize the Jeff/Dave change over when the hat came off
I think I saw a comment and was like “wait what”
30th Birthday is easily one of the best non-major cameo Jake & Amir episodes hands down.
I used to work at the Walmart in Athens, Georgia and sadly we didn’t have Rosies Frozies
They should've played "Thanksgiving Scroll" where Amir gets absolutely WRECKED in the face by Dave Rosenberg!!!!!
That was the episode where the "he's dead" line returned. XD
@@Psychol-Snooper Also in Bread
Wow I never realised they were actual twins! I always thought it was just one actor!
Seriously my mind is blown
Explain the second episode with that theory
Two of my favorite episodes and HashtagHashbag is something i still say to this day
It's funny that most of Jake's childhood friends work in comedy. College Humour and beyond
they work in humor, college or otherwise
Jake has said he's the one who introduced them to Streeter, who was in charge of hiring people at the time. Streeter even half jokingly said hiring the Rosenbergs (I think Jeff in particular) was a mistake in retrospect lol
I feel like a kid discovering how they filmed The Parent Trap
I like how the Rosies are basically Mark McGwire at the beginning of his career and Mark McGwire at the end of his career
30th Birthday is one of my all time favourite episodes
Such an epic phrase! I don't even smoke and I say hashtag hashbag every other week.. been doing it for years, it's crutch.
I was so lost who dave was until i saw the long hair. It felt like a high school reunion for me.
I still can't believe I never noticed the cut after the hat came off until I saw this episode
I never knew there was two of them.
Same!! This blew my mind
Sameee
Right?? Me neither
In Jake and amir tutors amir was held back for what 10 years maybe. So this was a much older student being bullied by a bunch of babies
Amir also thought that one new intern was Shia LeBeouf so it'd be totally in character for him to just think a random person is Jim Kelly.
Dave was right about the pizza all nighter video being before citizens arrest
i love these its like a link to my days of 2010-2013 which were prime . Also i love the company you guys bring im you seem so much more genuinely happy.
Holy shit they were actually twins!?
11:30 lol @ the failed fist bump
I never realized the twin switch!!! I feel so dumb
I never realized there were twins period.
Free content. I deserve so much more than this.
It's crazy how similar they look now, most twins look more distinctive as they get older, but other than the facial hair they look identical now.
lol I was actually struck by how different they look. Obviously Dave been working out more lol. And more than that, they just had different vibes
To release this reaction episode the year the Bills win the Super Bowl is too perfect. PS Go Bills!
I hope you’re not alive to read this
in this video i found out that there was actually REALLY two Rosenberg's
Wish you guys watched Thanksgiving Scroll as that has a major scene for Dave
I've seen this episode many times like all of them but i can't believe I never realized the actor switch. It's so blatant lmao.
Also i can tell yall got blasted and did a few bong rips before this ep
We need some Shia the been mike fink
This makes me smile of you
We're just two guys sharing a beef. We're beefing!
Wait, so are they the Rosenberg triplets? Who’s mark? I’d been thinking they were just twins for the last 10 ish years, my whole life is a high…
Lol there’s the twins and their older brother mark

No way thats Rosie?! Wow, I didnt recognize him.
Somehow never realized there were two Rosenbergs in the videos
This is the second time you've really hurt Rosie
I legit never, ever realized the twin swap in Citizens Arrest. I'm an idiot.
Dave has the weirdest vibe of all time. Slightly controlling and bully-ish but with a strong sniff of being very ill-at-ease in his own skin.
Yeah I noticed that too
Horrible take.
How is he controlling?
This comment is bully-ish
He's a mystery, an enigma, one denim vest away from looking like the bully character in every 90s highschool movie ever made.
