Yeah, to weekly wrap ups! You're having such a good reading month. I love mood reading the best and find that I always gravitate towards historical fiction, usually the 1930s or 1940s. 🎄🎄☃️☃️
Honestly, at this point I think you should just put any book that you're even contemplating putting on the favourite of the year list onto it. Also yes for taking it easy on yourself! 🎄🎅
Ah it sounds like you were a bit disappointed by the sequel! I didn't really love a good girls guide to murder so I think I made the right choice by not continuing. I'm so glad you loved you made a fool of death with your beauty so much!! It's an absolutely favourite of mine and it makes me so happy to see you love it too.
Good evening Emily, sorry to have been 'missing in action' for a couple of months, but the wife and I have been having a bit of a medically miserable end to 2024. Fortunately, in the last few days we've found out that Trish's heart surgery will not need to be as invasive as originally anticipated and, although my own leg surgery will still be going ahead in January, I won't now be needing eye surgery (that looked like having to be done in early 2024) for another 12 months. It's all been very worrying and has made it difficult to find either time or enthusiasm to keep up to date with my usual Y/Tube viewing. However I hope to be able to indulge in some serious 'catch-up' activity now that our medical worries have to some extent subsided. It was great to hear that you've had such a good start to December and already have a number of 'high-star' books under your belt. Obviously, my reading hasn't been extensive but I'm on target to finish Hardy's 'Under the Greenwood Tree' and Samuel Beckett's 'Murphy' by the end of the month. I stayed to the end of the video so here is a couple of Christmas emojis 🎄🎁 Kind regards, Brian.
I'm pleased the mood reading is going well! Excited that you enjoyed the new Lizette Auton book.
You would love that book and thank you ☺️
