If you condemn us then condemn turkey, and also we closed the embassy because of how useless it is to have an embassy in a country who literally wants to make you seem like a war criminal, the amount of antisemitism there is CRAZY
The US embassy in the USSR had a far more important job than the Israeli embassy in the republic of Ireland. A better comparison would be israel closing their iranian embassy (which I don't think they have but that would be the comparison).
What's messed up is how the neighboring Arab states not only don't take in Gazan refugees but literally close the border and ban them from entering. Unlike Europe which wholeheartedly accepted Ukrainian refugees. But this will require Arab states to actually care about the tragic lives of the Palestinians, instead of merely wanting to feel moral superiority over "da evil joos" while not doing anything at all to actually try to do anything in their power to help them. Like Lebanon which refuses to give citizenship too, etc.
Most of Gaza supported Hamas before the 2023 war, after the war public opinion their did a 180 because they realized Hamas just led them into a death trap and a war that was impossible to win.

I feel like I need to point out that the "Hamas claimed death toll" doesn't include the deaths caused by disease or starvation or those still under the rubble, it only consists of the verifiable deaths counted by local medical staff across Gaza, which only include deaths caused by physical violence
There is also a severe shortage of medical staff and officials in Gaza so the number is most likely underestimated as it is especially in areas directly occupied by the IDF
They are making up numbers. Why are the deaths per day linear? No naturally occurring numbers end up like that. Hamas says a maximum of 15 less/extra people die per day. Exactly. Though I may not agree with it, the main thing blocking Israel from conducting more air operations over Iran was the range their tanker fleet could go to refuel their jets. Now that Syria is incapable of stopping Israel from flying said jets over its territory, Israel can now effectively put the tankers 600 km from their borders safely, making another operation in Iran not only easier, but even likely. This is also probably why Al-Jolani hasn't done anything about it, he wants to see Iran dead too, and he knows picking a fight with Israel is a no-go, especially not right now.
@@ThatOneCatto syria was never capable of stopping israel from flyng jets over it's territory, that's the most BS claim i've ever heard. they rained down hundreds of strikes, along with the US, before the rebel offensive.

It will be interesting to see what happens when the Turkish attack on the SDF starts, if he joins or not. I still think it’s not certain that he does align himself with Turkey fully, as he wants western recognition and for the most part non aggression from Israel. Israel would also prefer and benefit from having another “safe” border, especially one where they may be able to operate against Iran, maybe even together. This is very optimistic but it is not unheard of, the same happened in April when Iran attacked Israel through Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Well I dont think Israel is really struggling here. Weakening Hezbollah in Lebanon also saw some success, killing leading figures and in turn also weakening Hezbollah support in Assads Syria, which contributed to the toppling of Assads regime. Which again in turn allowed Israel to bomb away large parts of Syrias military capabilities to reduce any threats coming from them and also allowed the idf to occupy a couple minor areas, which the new Syria cant prevent at all. This is also weakening Iran's position in the middle east without a friendly Syria and weakened proxys. Israeli losses are also quite low compared to the entities they're fighting against. I also have to remind you that the main objective of Israel in Lebanon, Golan and Gaza isn't conquest, or at least not conquest in a traditional way. In Gaza they want to destroy Hamas and there's also the widespread assumption that they also want to commit ethnic cleansing (Well, considering the far right parties currently in charge in Israel, not too far off, go figure). They are constantly on the offensive in Gaza which gives them an advantage as opposed to occupying and holding the whole place. In Syria it's also not your traditional conquest, nor full scale (if it was full scale then idf troops would already be in Damascus and beyond, judging by how weakened Syria is), it's to get a better position to fend off anything that might come from the other side in the future.
