FYI, if you keep arowana or other jumpers in an outdoor pond, they make meshes/wires cages for the tops of (typically koi/goldfish) ponds, usually to keep raccoons and critters out, but if you bury the base or put some nice heavy stones around the sides (bricks aren’t heavy enough for a full-grown ari), it also doubles as prevention for jumpers. Just a tip!
If you found or made one from chicken wire and some tubing, I’m sure you could find a way to attach it to your pool pond.

Add sand to your pool pond outside. That pool pond is dope! Ive made a pond out of a industrial water container. Aquaponics best tasting strawberries ive grown. Please do a aquaponics build dueces!
Maybe a little bamboo fence around the pond just to be safe bc I know they can jump high, you could still have a cut out in the fence where you can view the pond without issues

you could put some sort of clear plastic sheets on top of the pool pond if your worried about it jumping out. you can take it of during the day if its not raining. :)
