- A hike that started off in perfect weather ending up in thunderstorms.
Popradské pleso is a beautiful lake and the starting point for many other hikes. To Rysy and Kôprovský štít for example. It sits at an altitude of 1,494 metres (4,902 ft)
great weather, your english is like a polish guy after 5 beers talking in english
The Slovak attitude? Are they a laid back, easy going bunch?
I was speaking solely about their attitude to the outdoors. They love being outside no matter the weather. Rain or a storm will not stop them from a hike. Age is no barrier as well. Little children and senior citizens are in the thick of it. Compare this to my experiences with Hungarians who need to stop for a break every thirty minutes while on a walk and refuse to go outside in a drizzle. These are MY EXPERIENCES and do not represent all Hungarians or Slovaks.
@@davidbatguano9244 I can imagine mountain people a lot more used to the elements than city folk.
