Arto0X "weak ass pop rock" dude did you even listen to wonderful life and mantra? Sure they're melodic and catchy but pop rock is a strong exaggeration. Pop rock is like Fall Out Boy from 2013 and onwards. Besides we've only heard 2 tracks from a 51 minute album so far, how about not jumping to conclusions on something you don't know much about for sure?
Mungkin amo memang tidak akan terdengar seperti ini. Tapi mereka pernah bilang mereka tidak ingin melakukan hal yang sudah mereka lakukan dimasa lalu. Bukankah mereka belum pernah membuat musik dengan genre symphonic/electronic deathcore? Jadi mari kita berharap album setelah amo akan terdengar seperti album lama mereka, tapi dengan tambahan electro yang lebih kental karena ada Jordan disana :)

I love BMTH and I do in fact miss Oli's voice. This was great to see and keep seeing. I wonder how much strain this is on his voice. You guys want to hear a voice similar to his?? Listen to a band called The Disaster Area. Young semi-new band from the looks. I have so far enjoyed their shit and some of the vocals just remind me MUCH of BMTH. Listen to "The Serpent" specifically for a VERY similar song... You'll see what I mean :)

Imagine someone looses his voice over and over again by creating these vocal sounds. That one is taking singing / screaming lessons to recover from all those injuries. The vocal trainer has to say "you're not allowed to do this crap again if you want to stay healthy".
And before the fanboys flame me: with crap i mean injuring his voice.

I am questioning if this is really the band's choice to change or just the significant influence of major labels like Sony / RCA and Columbia are...
I mean, they only play songs from their last three LPs... These LPs were released through Sony / RCA and Columbia...
All LPs before sempiternal were released through Epitaph and Visible Noise (well-known for metal, hardcore, and punks bands)...
And they are not allowed to play the "old" songs just because of contract purposes... These damaged-voice excuses are just rumours and nonsense spread by some fans and other people IMAO...

@@jajabingus7307 nahhh their older albums are significantly worse than their newer albums both in quality of lyrics (for the most part) & sound, its just that their newer albums are a different genre so obviously it might not be ur taste-- it doesnt rly warrant them being "worse" since they're pretty far from that
doesn't change i still prefer cyb/suicide season over the other albums, but that's just because it's more of my musical taste tbh
Jaja Bingus how so may I ask? There’s good reason why they have moved on from that sound. It truly is terrible, cringeworthy even. For the 15 year old emo kids of the world it’s probably great but for anyone who’s grown up it really is embarrassing. Nothing good about those songs. Obviously we all have our own opinions. The song writing and diversity on TTS is a million miles ahead of anything they did back then.
There’s a reason there so big now, and it’s not because of there terrible first albums which even Oli has stated many times are poor.

Steve 1991 alright well here’s my argument. TTS is a very simplified album. Something I do appreciate currently is there usage of synth in there song writing, I do believe that it has help make there song writing seem more diverse and I think it worked extremely well with sempiternal. My biggest issue with TTS is the rather bland take on arrangement and overall compositional diversity. SS in my opinion is a great album is many aspects mainly songwritting, there’s some weak tracks on it but they did have a good nitch for composing metalcore/deathcore and playing off of each other well. I also really do like how oli uses his voice crack screams on his melodies. Tbh it has nothing to do with growing up, I could make the argument that you need to listen to more “intelligent music” like tech death metal like gorguts or cynic, but that argument alone is based around the same ignorance as classifying a bands quality of music by age.
Bulllshiiittt😂 their oldest album and demo were great (shit recording quality) but still were good. I don't see how u could call it shit when so many people liked it and still like those songs to this day. The newest album is so disconnected from any of the other stuff they've made that it just doesn't make sense. Some of it relates to older styles but that's only mere seconds. For an old fan it's weird to listen to a band go from death core - 90s euro pop but still they can do what they like.
