I’ve used the larger one for over year with multiple pedals, a fractal fm3, and a power supply mounted underneath. Soon to be adding a voodoo labs hex to control everything from the fm3. Great boards.
Been playing for 40+ years and was always a tube amp, pedalboards player. This board is really simple and cool but I bought a Helix a few years ago and would never go back to pedalboards - so happy with switching to the dark side 😎
I have the D'Addario XPND 2 Guitar Pedalboard and love it.
I gig as a bass player in one band, as a guitarist in another. I love these. I have two. They are velcro'd on both sides for PSU mounting, they're solid, and include clips for flawless cable management.
Do you ever get pussy from playing the gigs with the bands?
I got one of these to make a smaller board and it was absolutely perfect for my needs. Got four pedals on there and the power supply with room to expand. Two thumbs up.
I have both of these, powered by Voodoo Labs X8's. Big one stays in my home studio, use the smaller one for gigs & practice. Great products.
I’m just curious-may I casually toss seed your way?
I bought this pedal board the wider version about a year ago with the case. Really good. 👍
Just got my first pedalboard and realize now I shoulda got the larger . lol. Love your content . Getting back into playing again after 20 years and putting together a new rig . All your videos are super helpful to an old 80’s metalhead . Getting a buffer today and curious should it be at start of board or at end . 🤷♂️. 🤟🏻🤟🏻
Thats a pretty nifty looking power supply. *hops over to amazon^ OOOF, yeah might have to put that on layaway.
Fluff have you tried using the noise gate after the drive pedals?
Voodoo labs pedal power 3+ will fit
I was going to ask what power supply you would recommend, but it looks like you already addressed it! I have the smaller of the two and MRX power supply I got for it kept crapping out on me. :(
Under the board it has holes in the feet. Could it be mounted as a second tier to a pedal train etc?
Do you always noise gate before the tuner also do you ever use fx loop
Did you check to see if the larger power supply would fit under the bigger board?
Thank you for all the content! Quick Q -- I'm wanting to be able to make youtube videos that incorporate tutorials and include audio from my Logic Pro sessions. Do you have a video or advice on how to sync video and Logic audio together so vids look and sound good? Most content will be mic'd cabinets for guitar and drum mics through Logic as well.
“Si-ocks” you mean “Chocks.”
Is the bag also expanding or?
The bag, at least for the smaller one, is the size of the board at its longest extension. It comes with a nice velcro pad to make the interior the length of your board with the excess as a storage space. I bought both (and was apprehensive about the cost of the bag) but was very surprised and impressed with the quality. My Pedaltrains stay home now and I take this little guy to shows
How much for a Kilo of sugar, nowadays?! I don't know, Paul. Namastè.
That’s been out for a while now. Ola did a demo. Why are you just catching up now lol
Just checking out a new to me piece of gear my guy no need to be snarky. Have a great weekend!
@@RiffsAndBeards I understand lol sorry didn’t mean to come off like that. I have one btw love it
First one here!! Sup dude 😂
You wanna send me one of those? 😇 My current pedalboard is just a piece of wood.
That broken one is too big? That's like the smallest I could imagine, it says Friedman on it, shouldn't they be able to fix it you having this channel and all?
Toes
8 pedals is enough....no more
Don't tell me how to live my life! Lol
Fluff my man. Cioks is pronounce Chocks not Pshy-ocs. You sent me down a rabbit hole of doubting myself
And just for the record it’s Capo not Capo!!
The best guitar players barely used any pedals...Just play the dam thing and get good. SRV only used a wah-wah pedal and a tube screamer and was just good at playing the instrument. Its funny seeing guitar players live at a bar using a bunch of pedals and there skill level seems as if they stopped learning anything after 100 hours of practice. Its sad that they think there good enough to stand on a stage and entertain people. Its not entertaining, its shameful and extremely boring. All I can think is go back home and practice more please. Never plateau
Or you could’ve not typed all of that out, read it back, and hit post. That’s always an option too…
Interesting opinion. Just letting you know that a lot of modern guitarists couldn't care less about what SRV used. Everyone knows he was good, but it's irrelevant if you're not playing his music or stuff like it. The blues is aging, and it's okay if people today want a little delay and chorus.
The only point I agree with you on is that it takes more than pedals to be good on stage.
It is fun to see the messy flow to un-racked pedals on a floor....(?) But is it more fun(?)
What's an SRV?
