Those stilt artists! Wow! On the Esplanade! BTW the Esplanade at Edinburgh Castle slopes considerably! So, not the optimum surface for stilts.

From the vlogs I’ve seen, it looks like a lot of Countries host versions of the Edinburgh Tattoo, plus there are a number of towns/cities in the world called Edinburgh, so maybe not as superfluous as it might seem.
Yeah that’s it ,putting scotland just makes it easier for overseas viewers and Scotland alone is of interest to a lot of viewers it’s better for algorithm if title is similar to description in video, thanks for the feedback kitty 👍🏴

there is no such thing as a tatoo....there are however several Tattoos !

Mostly rubbish, not like the SSAFA tatoos or the Royal Tournaments of the 1950s. No doubt good family fun but NOT a MILITARY tattoo.

Think its a combination of amalgamation of troops and deployments, plus we don't have the same amount of soldiers since we are supposedly at peace! The Tattoo folk try every year to put on something different. I noticed that it was not as busy as usual too. Thank goodness we still had our Scottish Bands and the other Military were excellent also.@@MackMateCom

@@MackMateCom what I find the sadness is the mass pipe band are smaller. I lived in the Canongate as a small child and I loved when the bands were coming back from rehearsal and sometime they would just give it their all..
@dianacasey6002 yes it’s certainly scaled down now Diane it’s a shadow of what it once was when I was going in the 70s
