    I like how you said “I feel like Hikaru”! I agree that it feels like Sai is pointing at your board (I bought one or these). 😁👏

    Thank you for a very comprehensive review, Yeonwoo. What languages does the board UI support? Does it have out-of-the-box integration with any major online Go platforms?

      i saw this description looking for it:
      IZIS Intelligence Go Board is an all-in-one device.
      It is a true board, so you can play in person with the feeling of real stones (single-convex). It can act as a timekeeper as well, for tournament play. You can also allow your opponent to photograph a QR code at the end of the game, and they will be able to access the game record. You can also play against remote opponents (or even downloadable apps), while protecting your eyesight from the glare of a computer screen.
      The IZIS AI Baduk Board is great for study, with man-versus-machine options against various strengths of AI (Katago, Leela, Golaxy). There is also a cloud database of over 100,000 historical pro and tournament games that you can review, and you can search the database by a player's name to find your favorites.
      It will automatically record your games for later study, and even have an AI analyze your moves. There are graded problems that you can do, including Joseki (opening patterns), Semeai (capturing race), Tsume-go (Life & Death), Yose (Engame), and more!

    Love your videos, I've recently decided to re-study Go as I've not played for many years now. I first learned about Go in high school and played it a lot back then, to the point of even doing a presentation in class about the game. Sadly over the years I lost interest but recently got back into it slightly and look forward to improving my game. I'm from the UK, so it's difficult to find English opponents or even places to play it in England, I'll have to stick to playing it online :)

    Great, thank you for the translation subtitles! Which AI is it, is it updatable? And is it any good when allowed to take its time?

    Hey Yeonwoo, I really appreciate your videos. I started playing go at a young age as well, at 11 years old. I always dreamed about studying at a Go Academy in Japan or Korea. But still I know very little about life there. I would really love a video where you just talk about your experiences there and the road to becoming a pro. Sorry if you already did that and I missed it. If not I think you should because a lot of westeners would be really interested in it.

      hey my little brother is 10 and im introducing him to Go, he has fun playing 9x9 and 13x13 with me, he plays with 4 stone handicap and im also beginner level 22k~Do you have any advice on how to teach Go to children?

    • @SJNaka101
      @SJNaka101 Рік тому +1

      @@grassgrow030 I know your comment is a year old and your little brother is probably not a beginner anymore, but I will answer for anyone else who wants to know.
      I think the classic "capture go" method on a 9x9 works very well. You simply teach them to capture, and have them play a few games where 1st to capture a stone wins. Then, increase the number of stones to 3, then 5, then 7. Around 5 or 7 stones goal in capture go, an entire 9x9 board will get filled with neither player wanting to play moves because they will lose more stones. Then, you can explain the real objective of go, count the territory, and show who won based on territory.
      At this point, you can really teach go. You can show the ladder, and the net, and some basic tsumego to teach about eyes. You can get them started on a 13x13 board so they can start learning about territory frameworks. Then, after maybe 30 or 40 games total on the 9x9 and 13x13, graduate to the 19x19. Don't let them get stuck on the 13x13 for too long, because there will inevitably be a few wrong lessons taken from 9x9 and 13x13 that need to be unlearned on the 19x19 board.
      Good luck to anyone teaching their sibling/child/cousin/whatever! They will shock you at how fast they learn if you take a solid gradual approach with them. I just taught my nephews a few weeks ago and they discovered 2 eyes on their 5th game of capture go! It was like watching magic!
