I live down here in South Florida, yeah a lot of people do got money down here but if you basing the wealth off the cars you see, a lot of those cars are exotic rentals especially from tourists. You don’t have to be insanely rich to rent a Lambo in Miami that’s why you see so much of them
I like your perspective on the city. Miami is a playground for rich people but for those of us who live here foreal know not to rent in Brickell unless your money is up. We don’t hang out in South Beach, that’s for tourists. And Lambo’s are cool to drive but owning one is a terrible investment because someone is going to hit it and they don’t have insurance so they’re going to takeoff. If you’re not fluent enough to order a Subway sandwich in Spanish you’re going to struggle here culturally. Other than that it’s great.
@@KINGAMIIAMKING He didn't say you must speak Spanish to live there, just that if you don't you might not feel like a great fit culturally. And that's a very, very valid point very commonly held by non-spanish speakers who live in Miami or visit. The city is not for everyone.
Had to pause to let you know that Miami, esp brickell & south beach have lots of exotic car rentals, lots of companies to choose from. You’ve seen rented limos I’m sure.. in Miami we have rented lambos. Often rented out in 4 hour blocks for about $500-800. They have Ferrari, Bentley, Tesla, rolls Royce, any car you want they have em for rent.
Also realize, you can rent a Lambo for a day which isn't expensive compared to buying it. A bunch of people see you that day in passing and think you're rich, then they go home depressed wondering how you did it. I wouldn't let money be your main thing in life, you'll get obsessed with it. There are lots of ways to enjoy life without having millions in the bank.

Miami has been the main entry and Home of Latinos since Cubans 🇨🇺 arrived back in the early 1960s thats why Cuban 🇨🇺culture and influence is so Large in Miami and all of Florida
I'm a Florida native ,non-immigrant, and you failed to tell the truth. Cuban immigrans and immigrants from South America flooded into Miami, primarily in the 19802, mariel boatlift. The US government, for some reason made Florida a sanctuary state, for cuban immigrants who primarily were kicked out of jails from Cuba, by castro. Most cuban immigrants came here broke, and the welfare provided for them to build a life, was generated from US chattle slavery, from black slaves that created the wealth of this nation in the 1500s. My Floridian grandparents who grew up in the 1930s, said there were hardly any spanish speaking immigrants here, until you guys started coming here in the late 70s. Everything Miami is now, in regards to hispanics and cubans, is due to government policies, not because you're some magical people. If that was the case, Cuba wouldn't be a shithole...and you would have created your own Miami in cuba, instead of fleeing here and freeloading unearned benefits, that were denied to the people who built the country.
I like your videos I am an automotive technician and I make 40 grand a year plus. I don’t plan on moving downtown because it is expecting to be expensive but I want to get your opinion. What do you think?
Former Miamian here. A lot of the money you see is a facade. Yeah, some people are super rich. But most of the rich people you see did not make their money in Miami. They made it elsewhere and then moved. Then you have the pretend rich people, which is most of them. They are financed out the ass with their luxury cars and homes they can't really afford. They're middle class at best when it comes down to it. And of course you have your illegal money. People doing shady shit in Latin America that bring their money over. People that run hustles, and find a way for the government to pay them. Start looking at the HOAs of subdivisions in Kendall, Doral, etc. You run the paper trail out and find that everything either goes to one person, or the paper trail just dies. Don't let it fool you. Miami is the city of fraud.

There are lots of nice cars, parked in a small home, or doing five miles an hour during rush hour, or being parked by a valet on South Beach for 45 dollars. A ten mile commute will take an hour or longer. Your brand new car will be damaged in a crash within one year or broken into within 3 months. I found more English spoken in Hungary, Austria, Germany, and the Netherlands than in Miami. Miami is about lifestyle and nothing about living.
