Ford Transit Connect Cargo Dash & Evaporator

To remove the evaporator on a 2012 connect its simple
1. Remove the cup holders 🥤
2. Remove the steering column with 4 nuts 🔩
3. Remove one screw above the steering and 4 on the A pillar.
4. From the engine bay remove the heater hoses (2) and the hot and cold lines held in with (1) 13mm.
5. Move the dash over (in car or out ) 💪🏻
6. Replace the evaporator
7. Put everything back

Did you have to disconnect the battery?

Yes, with a project this size it’s always safe to disconnect the battery in the case of the transit connect it was under the driver seat.
