- Candy Crush is probably my favorite of their pre-releases so far! I love how they're taking music cues from the solo releases.

lmao thank you for appreciating the mixing on flower rhythm, i felt insane for loving it. Probably not what most people were expecting from the title, but i love the metallic vocal processing. I'm not a huge fan of kpop (loona projects not included), the vocals are often way too forward and smoothed out. The distortions and layering were so cool on this! Birth was awesome too, the vocals were completely raw when the acoustic section kicked in.
Super agree on the metallic processing. I think that's conveyed with the liquid metal distortion of the members in the video too. Everything felt very intentional and congruent
It warm my heart SOOO much to see and hear HaSeul not only getting to sing, but to show off her range and skill so much more than she ever did at BlockBerry. And she looks so incredibly *happy*... 🕊💚🦊
The flower formation at the intro of Flower Rhythm is a reference to Kehwa from HeeJin's album.
First time hearing this it reminded me of Last Summer Whisper by Anri. Before I knew about Haseul's plastic candy song lol. But yeah great song. Definitely feeling this one over the others just because of that nostalgic beat.
I think if it was a mini-album, maybe you could complain a little about how many pre-releases there are, but there's still gonna be 6 songs to look forward to after the title track drops! Really glad we got these track videos though. They're simple but still add so much to the pre-releases

I do love these blatant references to previous works, I cannot get into the deeper Loona lore lol.
The lore really lost the plot after So what anyway imo. It's all just fun little references now basically

Flower Rhythm is the Cherry Gene's of ARTMS. Cherry Gene is the tripleS song mixing generation and cherry talk, and this song have the same purpose, it's a heavily layered track with elements of other tracks. It can be overwhelming for a lot of people imo, i like it a lot but it's not something you'll listen often.
Song includes the Plastic Candy base guitar “ba-doink”❣️

In terms of the "muddy critique" I've been noticing a trend of folks going after JJ groups for having "bad mixing" and I find it annoying. I keep having to quote Inigo Montoya, "You keep saying that word. I'm not sure it means what you think it means." LOL! Like what makes it "badly mixed"? Please give me specifics.
Has no reactor heard Pastic Candy? It is noticeable in the first second of the song. It's a shame all they miss.
