The Revotec electric fan is meant to be in lieu of the mechanical fan so surely you should remove it before setting the cut-in/cut-out temperature on the Revotec temperature controller?

Ensure that the water pump is in the best of health and that the system is free from blockages/debris. On the Triumph 4/6 cylinder engines any deposits in the cooling system are usually gathered in the waterways towards the rear of the cylinder block and are difficult to clear without disassembly of the engine. @@RimmerBrosTV That does not appear to be correct; you should not be using two fans. Each fan is going to have different speeds and flow rates, using two fans will cause a pulse between the two fans which will inhibit air flow through the radiator, not enhance it and will not provide additional cooling in hot weather. Two fans will I suggest cause the car to run hotter, not cooler.
