Found out that if you take the 3-prong collar off the LED first and fit that in the light housing, then put the clip back on, you can then put the rubber dustcover over that before you put the actual LED in. That way, you don't have to cut the dustcover at all. This video explains it all perfectly. (Start the video at 1:05) ua-cam.com/video/jSAoUrecAVI/v-deo.html
@gerbproductions make sure when you have you're leds installed you adjust the headlights the light pattern for the leds will be too high and you need to lower it id use a car on a flat surface 25 feet away and adjust it based off the bumper then flip the car around and adjust the height till the light doesn't hit the windsheild
I sure wish you had the model with the DRL - Non DRL models are much much easier to find compatible bulbs for. As a matter of fact, I haven't been able to find information on DRL compatibility of newer LED headlights with older civics that use the series high beam connection system for DRL.
A headlight restoration would help more than a bulb upgrade. I just did my 1st and 2nd restoration on my car/truck. Car's hid's never been brighter, trucks halogen bulbs are ok but i might just upgrade it to led's. I don't drive it enough to justify and hid kit for it
Ik... Can't forget where the channel started ;)... It needs some more work, so you will probs see it more. I was thinking either, budget k24 or eBay turbo kit... I think K would be more reliable with very similar power. We shall see.
@@TheGerbsteve Right on! Yeah K swap would probably be much more reliable.. I've owned a couple of 7th gens and I swear that d17 engine doesn't react well to mods in general lol
Hey everyone, so im finally going to buy me another civic, i have an 06 ex sedan that ive had for years, ive had a couple older civics that ive done alot of mods to...well im looking for a slick great condition civic maybe a new one, im in love with the 8 gens and cant help but want an fa5 si...but a new one would be sweet to, question is would everyone here buy a 1.5 turbo or a 2.0... i just have been hearing so much about the oil dillution problem in the turbo si's, any info and opinions on this?

Would have been nice if you had links to the LED and adapter.

I installed some leds in my 2002 honda civic. They are nice and bright. But how come my daytime running lights dont work? A light says DRL on my dash

Good to see you're showing the ES Civic some love 😎👍🏼 Would be sick if you eventually threw a k series in that bad boy

IMO, they’re the perfect color 🤙🏼... Definitely can’t go wrong for the price
what year is your civic? I put led lights in my 2002 civic and a DRL code comes up and my dash and my day time running lights dont work
Where can i get these bulbs? I have an 05 civic should work
