North West Tasmania road trip itinerary 🚘 Spirit of Tasmania with a baby! Travel vlog 2024

We caught the Spirit of Tasmania from Geelong to Devonport for our one week road trip through North West Tasmania.
Our first stop was Mole Creek Caves where we saw the glow worms in Marakoopa Cave. Then we drove to Cradle Mountain where we spent three nights. We hiked up to Hanson's Peak and continued on past Ranger's Hut and Lake Wilks before joining back up to the Dove Lake Circuit. We also checked out Waldheim Chalet and did part of the Cradle Valley Boardwalk and the Enchanted Walk.
We then spent two nights at the Corinna Wilderness Village where we were off grid in a gorgeous old miners cottage. We did the Pieman River Cruise to Pieman Heads and the Whyte River Walk.
Our roadtrip continued North to Trowutta Arch and The Nut in Stanley. We caught the chairlift up and completed The Nut Walk. Fish and chips for lunch before a short stop at Rocky Cape National Park.
On our way to Devonport we passed through Penguin and also stopped at the Mersey Bluff Lighthouse.
Our day of departure, we drove out to Leven Canyon and Preston Falls before boarding the Spirit of Tasmania for an overnight sail.
