Hey friends! This is definitely a crazy experience for a student. What’s been one of the hardest things you have experienced while studying or working in America?
Hi Rob, Just wanted to mention that as a prospective graduate student at UT Dallas, I enjoy watching your videos, and find it very informative. Keep continuing to post more videos on life in the USA. Thanks!
Hey Rob, your comment in one of the classroom life comparison got me here! I am flying to NYU in the fall of 2020 for my bachelors, so maybe, you can provide me some tips or suggest me some videos. Thanks! Great job in your channel :)
Cayden Forever congrats! That’s exciting to hear! Please share some more specific questions and then I’m happy to give tips and suggestions. Besides that, watch lots of the videos so you can be prepared beforehand.
Ajinkya Shinde yeah, sorry about the audio. It was fun sitting out on the balcony for the conversation but the wind and traffic background noise ended being a bit much. So the editing to reduce the background noise impacted the audio a bit.
I am in the same boat, I am H1B worker. My embassy sent my passports both new and old after approving my renewal application. UPS missed my package, they are still investigating. 😔
@@chaiandcoaching ohho....i was lost my passport..then i complete all procedures and Reissued new passport..now i have Exit-re-entry Visa of saudi arabia but on visa there is old passport number mentioned...now new passport has new number then how to travel back to saudi with new passport... because both passport numbers are different...i hope you understood
@@youthtubeplanet8925 gotcha, sorry but I don’t know the rules fo Saudi Arabia, you should check their government website for the rules or talk to an immigration lawyer who understands the process there
Sir my indian passport is damaged and has valid stamp for my study permit on it for canada . Can i reapply for new passport and then travel with both passports?
I am kind of in a similar situation I lost my passport. After which I reported it as lost and got myself a new passport. Somehow I found my old passport as well. Want to know if I can use the visa on passport that I reported as lost for traveling purposes? Did Gauri use F1 visa on her old passport or again got stamping on the new passport from India? Any help would be really appreciated Thank you
Apply for the new passport, you can do this by contacting near by Indian consulate. For Visa, most probably you will have to go back to India and reapply again. But your Visa status remain valid until you stay in US meaning you can stay in US without problem.
Hi, I got my F1 visa in 2015, unfortunately I lost my passport in USA. I came back to India in 2016, for re stamping but got rejection 4 times since then I have been working in India. And my previous visa in getting expire in Sep 2020. Can I apply for fresh F1 visa again. your input would be helpful.
I have no idea. Every case is different. It's possible, but you should consult with immigration lawyers and the colleges you are interested in studying at.
@@chaiandcoaching a similar incident happened to a friend, but luckily they managed to find their passport because they dropped it in a public transport. But I was researching around and I found a video where a UA-camr interviewed the Consulate General of one of the Indian Consulates. They said the passport can be issued from the US itself. Then as far as the visas are concerned, then initially the person has to file a police complaint to have a valid documentation of the missing/lost passport. Then I think the relevant organization, probably USCIS can issue you a visa inside your passport. But I think it isn’t necessarily the lengthy process. They value your time in a lot of ways and I think, if you reach out to your country’s embassy here, then they will most likely try to help you out. And even tho if you go back to your country, here India, when you apply for an interview or slot, you can apply for an emergency one. There you can address your issue inside the explanation section. I am even surprised to hear because you might not even have to get an interview because technically your visa and visa status are still valid. So must work just by sending passport by mail after communicating with them. ^^ ~

Hii bro
Very Helpful video Rob :)
The audio seems to be distorted for some reason
Aayush Parmar thanks!
Yeah, we filmed outside, so the wind and traffic noise editing messed with the sound a bit.

Great experience. Kudos to Sushma Swaraj for this initiative. The video is great but the audio is little unclear maybe due to patio noise disturbance.

Hey did they tell you why they rejected you? How many semesters did you do in United States?
The guy whom she talked to like it will take 2 months, did not give correct information, it was seriously misleading.
