Animals and Stuff size depending I would say discus shouldn't be in anything less then a 75G. But if their hatchling size of 1/4"-2" a 20 with other same size critters would work short term and I do stress that short term part due to discus insane stress out levels.
Of all the youtubers whose channels are about aquariums and fish, you are the most careful and well informed of them all. Thank you for sharing your wisdom
She looks awesome in the rainbow tank! The sand is perfect to camouflage her along with the wood to make her comfortable. I think the fish above her will make her feel secure as well. It's nice to see her in the gallery.
Those rainbow fish are really colouring up nicely. I think the 375 is my favourite of all your tanks so far. The scape looks awesome and I love the peninsula tanks.
I don't know if you meant to do this, but not only are you giving us an update, you're teaching us how to introduce a new fish to a tank and in some cases like yours you had to change the tank's scape a little to match the needs of everyone. Thank you for making fun and educational videos!
Just watched the video "My New Aquarium House" from March 19, as a reminder of how far you have come. You should feel so proud being able to pull this off, you are my favorite UA-camr mainly because of the immense effort and quality you put in to your videos.
She was really breathing heavily! I guess I always thought rays were big animals that didn't get scared or really stressed it's so neat to learn more about them. They are so much more personable than I would have ever imagined!
I subscribed! I love your enthusiasm towards fish, rays, sharks, whatever it is you put in your tank! I also really appreciate your respect for these creatures, and how you make sure they have a proper home, especially making sure the tank is plenty big enough for them to develop without feeling cramped. Lots of people will buy things like bamboo sharks, or koi goldfish, and stuff them into tanks they can barely turn around in. It's horrible! They do this because they're on a "budget", and don't want to invest in a proper tank. This is cruel, and doing this will make it hard for the animal to grow to their full adult size! People like these should not have pets! As a fellow enthusiast myself, I think you're doing great work. Keep it up!
Hint: lift up the wood with some small wood parts to create space underneath the big parts. ;) Looks natural too when properly done. Don't mind the moss not being under water, the wood absorbs enough water for the moss above to thrive too. Just give that moss a spray with water when you feed your fish and done. Works like a charm here. Cheers. Ps: branches sticking out of the water are actually more natural. Give it a try, for real. ;)
She looks great in her new home, she's got so much more to explore now and the added bonus is that we all get to see more of her. *hooRAY* Oh yes, I went there just for you Joey.
Hey Joey, love the videos, just a suggestion, would it be better to prop up the driftwood giving the stingray more room and less chance of getting stuck, I know you know what your doing and that it is a large tank, just a suggestion, cheers, keep up the good work, your living my dream 😁
If you ever are out of video ideas, how about making a video of a schedule you might use for one of your tanks? I have aquariums of my own and I'm pretty sure I'm doing everything right, however I always have a thought in the back of my mind that I'm not doing everything properly. If you made a video about it, it could help me and other people out, but it's just a suggestion, thanks!
I love stingrays so much. I live in an area where the beach has a lot of stingrays and have been stong twice. Of course, it hurt like hell, but I still respect them and find them so beautiful. I once even saw a stingray's skeleton washed up on the beach. Love and respect them so much. One of my favorite animals in the world.
Hi Joey, big fan from Scotland. I'm really enjoying seeing the progress of the gallery. Cannot wait to see what you've got planned for the future. I look forward to the videos each time you upload.
You probably already know this Joey, but a good way to feed bottom dwellers in a mixed species aquarium is using a opaque pvc tube, push the food down it and the rainbows won't be able to access it :) Nice one for doing this :)
Great video and beautiful tank! Is there a trick to filming your tank so clearly and without glare? Is it just a matter of keeping your water and glass clean?
Adding her was a great idea! A fish to inhabit the bottom of a truly spectacular tank. Are you having any algae growth yet in this tank, or is the moss taking care of the xtra nutrients? Maybe you are just doing an excellent job of maintenance?
We all are sorry for your loss buddy and keep doing what you do you have inspired all of us everyone is here to support you on your UA-cam career keep going and doing what you do best
Wait til u see my vivarium. Just letting you know because I used a bunch of methods I learned from you. Just got my finnex 24/7 se. All trim for Windows is cut and painted. Foam BG is finished. Now putting it together. Will have video next week.
Awesome gallery dude. I love the videos and have learned a lot watching you. I have raised many fish growing up but I will say I have learned much more watching you. I give Your videos an A+++
I really love your videos. You share a lot of knowledge. Thank you so much. Can you also do some videos on different types to fish diseases and how to treat them?
Here is what happened with this aquarium last time: ua-cam.com/video/hMnrYHJvG4c/v-deo.html
Do you think discuss will eat baby guppies along with adult guppies? Also if I heavily plant a 20 gallon tank can I add multiple bettas? (Males)
The king of DIY You have the best fish channel next to Solid God Aquatics or Jennie
Hey Joey I was really wondering about the Repashy fish food
not sure about the discus, wouldnt have thought so and no you cant have multiple male bettas, they will fight and kill each other.
Animals and Stuff size depending I would say discus shouldn't be in anything less then a 75G. But if their hatchling size of 1/4"-2" a 20 with other same size critters would work short term and I do stress that short term part due to discus insane stress out levels.
Great video! I would love to have a tank like that!

Your tank is beautiful and you sound very knowledgeable. It's great to see someone so passionate about a hobby.
I never noticed how tiny she was until she was put in the new tank! Awww😊
Those rainbow fish are really colouring up nicely. I think the 375 is my favourite of all your tanks so far. The scape looks awesome and I love the peninsula tanks.
I'm very happy to see the little pearl out in the gallery, I've been wanting to see more of her 😁
I don't know if you meant to do this, but not only are you giving us an update, you're teaching us how to introduce a new fish to a tank and in some cases like yours you had to change the tank's scape a little to match the needs of everyone. Thank you for making fun and educational videos!
Cant wait to see the gallery completely finished, keep up the hard work my man.
Beautiful tank, and the stingray looks gorgeous.
Very exciting to see you get all the fish outside finally! The gallery is really taking shape!
I love your compassion there's over two hundred of them we won't even notice you human
She's such a beauty. No aquarium girl but the stings and Diskus got me. ❤
I like that the tank is huge bro. Respecting the fishes space is nice
I agree!
I love your acrylic tanks, they are so clear. The Rays are stunning.
You inspired me to build a southamerica tank.
I'm a first time watcher and this was a gorgeous tank and ray!
Just watched the video "My New Aquarium House" from March 19, as a reminder of how far you have come. You should feel so proud being able to pull this off, you are my favorite UA-camr mainly because of the immense effort and quality you put in to your videos.
Good call bringing her out to the gallery, she looks great.
That pearl is gorgeous! Makes me want Rays at some point in the future, but for now I think my rainbow addiction is too strong to get anything else!
the 375 just became my favourite tank. she fits perfectly in there, love it!
(okay the Discus tank is extremely stunning as well)
Hope she's happy in new home. Look forward to update
She was really breathing heavily! I guess I always thought rays were big animals that didn't get scared or really stressed it's so neat to learn more about them. They are so much more personable than I would have ever imagined!

Great job
You should add a small shark
Adding her was a great idea! A fish to inhabit the bottom of a truly spectacular tank. Are you having any algae growth yet in this tank, or is the moss taking care of the xtra nutrients? Maybe you are just doing an excellent job of maintenance?
It looks more natural with a few organic particles in the sand imo, i like it
Awesome video! Love the rays color almost identical to the sand!! If she darkens up I still think she'll match and camouflage pretty well!! 👍🌊🌊
I love how excited heis.
