The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other. it's fun how easily you can tell if a person is a classical animator just from his/hers linework. Byron Howard has a very "animator like" linework (flowy, free, bold), while Cory Loftis has a very analytical and precise linework that you probably wouldn't see from any classically trained western animator.
I was thinking about this too. His lines are very clean compared to past Disney animator Glen Keane
+MasijuPsn True!! Thank you ! I noticed it but i just don't know how to worded. I was trained with " analytical and precise linework" when i was young so Cory's clip is much easier for me to follow while Byron made me feel like street artiest (no bad meaning), something here n there and before i can catch up boom nick was on there and i had an ugly flat football looking at me. :)
Loftis actually went to college studying animation before he became a character artist, I think.

+FaceUnreality I know. The amount of times I've watched all of the clips, trailers, TV spots etc. It's something I would've expected myself to pick up on. This is definitely going to be one of those films that each time you watch it you'll spot something new with the incredible amount of detail they've put into it.
Backwards Drifter I watched that clip where Clawhauser appears to see if I could see the mickey symbol. I spotted a dot that was bigger then the rest that was hard to see, I think that was Mickey's head. Man I love this movie.

Is Clawhauser a cheetah or a housecat? I've heard both, but based on his size compared to Judy I'm leaning towards housecat sized.
+MarkD1159 He's definitely a cheetah. The creators didn't want domesticated animals in the film because that would imply the existence of humans.
