Mark has been in touch over the weekend and confirmed this has now been reduced in price to $379k. This is a fantastic trawler that is ready to go tackle the Loop once again! Full spec on Mark's website at www.mzyachts.com
She was a great boat, shame there weren't a lot more made. Most people have never heard of them, let alone seen one. Thanks for watching, and I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊
Thanks Jason I saw an article at www.boatingworld.com/boattests/fathom-40/#:~:text=We%20imagine%20most%20people%20will,2%2C000%20nautical%20miles%20of%20range that you would be looking at just over 2,000 nautical miles at around 7 knots. As to the tanks..... Fresh Water Tanks: 1 Aluminum (140 Gallons) Fuel Tanks: 2 Aluminum (200 Gallons) Holding Tanks: 1 Fiberglass (45 Gallons) Hope this helps 😉
Hey Robby, this boat is listed on Mark's website at www.mzyachts.com/40-fathom-yachts-expedition-fast-tr. As of today (4/22/21), the boat is listed for $407,500. I have more videos being lined up, including another shoot in the morning. If you hit the subscribe button, you will get a notification when each video goes live. Thanks for watching!!
Surely there's a better design for a drop down transom. I could see many people falling over. Why not have a longer rope or a mini break system so one doesn't have to hold the entire door weight. And pulling it up, oh my back!
Dave, the drop down transom was a feature I liked, but is rare to see. When I was onboard I did wonder how easy would it be to install some sort of electric option to drop and raise the door. However, I can add that it currently has a gas strut similar to the trunk of your car that takes the weight of the door. I also felt like when the door was up, it was securely in place and would take a real freak order of events for it to drop unintentionally. Good catch though 😉
@@GarnockReviews no doubt, people who can afford these boats are not usually 35 and spry. Imagine a 60 year old bending over to pull that door up. Good luck.

Very nice video. Great job.
Nice to hear a Scottish accent..🏴🏴
Thanks Jamie! I moved over to Florida over 10 years ago but I'm still hanging on to my accent 🤠
Found you with newer videos but all the yachts you tour are actually sensible yachts I could see myself on. Keep it up.
Thanks Marti. I actually have another trawler that should be going live today or tomorrow. Hope you enjoy that one too 🤠
Man I Love this one

Para minha família é mais do que perfeito!!!!
The interiors remind me of some of the Nordhavns.
I agree! I could see hints of Nordhavn, Beneteau Swift Trawler, and Selene when doing this video. She is a great cruiser for her size.
Love it! Thank you
Glad you enjoyed the video! I have more boats coming soon including another Great Harbour 47, and a Grand Banks East Bay 38 to name but a few.
What sort of cruising range at 7 knots? How much fuel and water does she hold?
Thanks Jason

One head. ,
Just 1 head on this one, but has more room than trying to factor in 2. The heads compartment also boasts a full walk in shower.
