Love the places you camp, so different than what Ohio has to offer. The fire pit looks nice and warm. Having a freezer is so great so you can pack ice cream or popsicles. Still can’t get over some of those views. Boon-docking pros. Christmas Story 😂.
Nice video; what are your thoughts on the AT overland habitat? I know I have seen your review with the super pacific while back. I have a 23 Nissan Frontier pro4x 5-foot bed and want to get something to camp in winter while snowboarding in Tahoe and Bear Valley. Out of all the campers you have tested, what is your most loved shell?
It is ingenious how they have come up with ways to allow people to comfortably camp in the winter. It seems like quite the adventure. We look forward to seeing more!
I'm looking into that heater, as it is the only "cheap" option that comes with a pelican case-style package. Great job showing people about the carbon monoxide detector. You'll never know. Better safe than sorry!
We just installed it. Have not hooked it up just yet. We were using our Battle Born 100ah battery to power the heater and our Jackery for the SetPower fridge. Will let you know how it works.
We had it hooked up to our Battle Born 100ah battery. The power cord on the heater only comes with ring terminals. If you use a Jackery you would need to splice it with a cigarette style connection.
Not sure what your elevation is where your were camping, but over 2000’ you should use the Alpine mode, it will save on fuel. I have the same unit and I can be on level 3 for about 4 hours and use less than 500ml. Nice rig also!
Great gear review , the diesel heater is a game changer and those coats look pretty sweet. And Baklavas were what you put over your face when skiing or out in the cold. Always a good video !
Thanks for the video, I love mountain camping to escape FL heat!! Probably autocorrect, but just in case, (from the internet) Baklava (pronounced “bahk-lah-vah”) is a noun. This a dessert from Greece, Turkey, and the Middle East. It is made with layers of pistachio nuts, phyllo (aka filo) dough, honey, and rosewater. There’s a science channel video on making it from scratch here. Balaclava (pronounced “bah-lah-klahv-ah”) is a noun. It means a head, neck, and shoulder covering; it’s named for attire worn in the Crimean War.
The fire pit is great. Packing flat was one of the best selling points for us. 🥶 We are so glad too, missed the snow storm too, came after we made it down the mountain.
Happy New Years! Nice Vlog
Looks like a nice heater 👍
We are pretty happy with how it tuned out!
Great VLOG guys! I had a lot of fun watching this one. Happy New Year!!
Having the heater definitely will extend our camping season!
Oh yeah 🎉 another sweet video
I think the diesel heater's black hose expands! Hope that helps!
Yes, it did a little; however, just not enough to make it into the Habitat. Need to get a nozzle for the end also.
Thank you for all the tips! Great information!
Thank you for watching. Have fun, stay safe, warm, and have an amazing adventure.
Another great video! :) Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the support!

Happy New Year you guys!
I need to get one of those propane fire pits!
Very cool stuff!
With all the fire bans, we finally did it! It’s nice to have a fire around camp on a cold night.
How much battery did it use?
The start up power consumption is 9 to 11A, working power is 1 to 3A.
Balaclava that’s what it’s called.
Thank you…it was on the tip of my tongue. Helps when the weather gets super cold.
Hey guys, i have a few questions for you guys about your Habitat. Getting ready to move in that direction from a wedge style RTT. Can i dm you?

Nice video. Gotta be tough to have to get a fire permit even with propane lol. Thank you for making.

We love overloading in big bear. We are trying to figure out where this is located 😅. Love your videos💚

So many cool ways to make it less painful 😖 . For sure our favorite is the heater. Thanks for watching friends!
You guys are more interested in brands and accessories

That is exactly why we chose it. Great price for having something less bulky. Always practice safety!!!
W❤️W! That’s Lovely! Cheers for more awesome and incredible adventures!🥂❤️✨
Thank you!! Happy adventures out there.
How’s that hood solar panel? Is it enough to keep you topped off?

@@OpenRoad4Two Thanks! Been contemplating putting one on my truck 🍻
@@mattheword we are hoping it keeps us topped off 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Como hay nieve y que buenas aventuras de camping
Great video! I just ordered mine last week .. still waiting! Which battery did you hook up to? Can you use with a jackery 350?

Thank you. Thank you for the name Baklavas too…couldn’t remember. Anything that helps keep us warmer makes the experience more enjoyable!

Great video I’m thinking about investing on that heated jacket.
They work great!!!
Ohhh! Love that Tembo fire pit. We haven’t seen those yet. Thanks for sharing and glad you didn’t freeze!

@@OpenRoad4Two Will definitely be looking into that! Fire bans are more and more common and it’s nice to have the heat and ambiance. 🍻
love the diesel heater. the controller is cumbersome but definitely good in the winter.
We are very happy. Extends camping season…just have to get more days off 😂
This was a "mo better" video. Thanks Guys!
😂😂👊🏼👊🏼
Have u seen the fire reflective wall for fire pit
We have not, but will check it out. Thank you.
Really digging the habitat, sleeping area, and awning in one!
It’s a great all I one package! Lightweight too!
