- Finally playing PLUTONIA in single-player on UV, something I must sheepishly admit I've never done before. Although it's SP, my good friend @MtPain27 joins me for some commentary and help along the way. Enjoy!

Map 24 is a good example of a map with variable difficulty. It's Extremely difficult if you go guns blazing but it's surprisingly easy if you go slowly.
I'm sad I'll miss out on this live. I coincidentally just finished playing through Plutonia for the first time myself (continuous on HMP but still).

Try to go for it pistol start/uv/no save, my dood. It seems more daunting than it really is, and it will up your game considerably, if you manage to finish the WAD like this.

As a kid I grew up with Doom 95 and Doom 2, though Doom came out when my dad was in college. Doom 95 was what I remember my dad playing without cheats. Doom 2 he would play with God mode on, and I played with him as a kid.
Have to admit it makes me laugh to watch someone else suffer through Tombstone at times. (Having done a pistol start for my channel)
Also, 56:12 Yeah, if you check out my playthrough, I suffered a death right at this very spot as a sitting duck. (THere is a montage of deaths at the start of the vid.

I love Plutonia map 23; second favorite after map 19.
On a sidenote: if this is DSDA and not Woof, you can just use set keyframe/restore keyframe (even rewind), and you don't have to save/load all the time.
It is DSDA, but I prefer not to rewind during play as I get too reliant on it.. setting restore points sounds great for me though, I’ll keep that in mind!

So which maps so far have been some of your favs of Plutonia?
5, 13, 15, 23 and 32 are all fun, but really I've enjoyed the wad a lot overall. It's nice reaffirming what I liked about it while dispelling some misguided motions I had about it too! Since the maps almost never overstay their welcome, it's so easy to pay little mind to the "bad" bits.

This was recorded a few days ago
remember; premiers are pre-recorded, whether it was a livestream or not doesn't matter
and with premiers there can be the creator in the chat, interacting with people who came to view to premiere
I'm pretty surprised at the hate for the Temple of Darkness map, I think there are definitely worst maps in Plutonia
Looking back, I can't say there's any Plut map I hate, honestly.
