As someone looking to move to Valencia I’d like to see a video about more reasonably priced apartments. Also what the rental market is like at the moment. I’ve heard bad things but being from Toronto we are used to that 😂
Great post, Antoanetta! I wanted you to post more property-related videos and you did. Although quite pricey, those were some great apartments. As a person who lives in an (overpriced) 1-bedroom apartment in Valencia, I would love to see another post about renting and buying smaller apartments, new and second-hand, even outside the city center, real soon. Keep up the good work, A.
A great idea. Most people thinking of relocating to Valencia are not looking for a New York style luxury experience there. Most are going to be digital nomads and retirees seeking more typical housing and want to live more like Valencianos than New Yorkers and are more likely interested in one or two bedroom units. Honestly you can find upscale luxury housing in all but a small handful of cities in the world less expensive than in New York.
If you are looking for second hand that is relatively close to the center is the neighborhood of En Corts. It is very close to Russafa but with lower prices. If you are looking for new housing of good quality but a little further away, there is a lot of construction in the Malilla neighborhood. That area will go up a lot in price because Valencia Basket is building a big stadium in the area. These are just a couple of examples. You can locate them with Google Maps or Google Earth among others.
I’m Paying $3K in San Francisco CA and these apartments look like a great deal for me… keep the videos coming please.. I love them.. can’t wait until I moved to Spain in couple years tops!
There’s no real purpose in comparing NYC to Valencia in terms of housing. New York is horrendously overpriced but your salary would be 3-5x of what you’d make in Spain on average. Plus, you’re paying for access to opportunities, world-renowned entertainment, and everything else that comes in living in a mega city like New York. Also, people only pay those rent prices because buying within the city is often out of the question. Seems silly to pay this much in a place like Valencia.
Don't worry, people who have $95 to piss down the toilet to speak with this charlatan for 60 minutes won't appreciate the solid logic behind your comment.
YT vlogger Cash Jordan does daily vids on available apts in NYC. Jeez, they're all overpriced (which is why he regularly describes them as places where rent is divided among roommates), often old, very small &, most of all, normally not too visually, aesthetically appealing. Most balcony or window views don't look out over a charming town (eg, classic Valencia) but instead over a mainly drab 1930s-1970s-era concrete canyon. Moreover, NYC doesn't have exactly the best weather & also a non-stressful amount of crime & graffiti. Manhattan, however, is famous for being walkable. Although its subways are more 3rd world than the ones in equally or older cities like Paris or London are. But NYC is NYC. In spite of its nature & history for over 75-150 yrs, it has done, yep, damn well for itself. So different strokes for different folks, & an acquired taste (ie, the tagline: "I love NY!").
@@gridleyI definitely agree ny isn’t worth the price tag. Just saying comparing an astronomically priced Valencian apartment to an overpriced nyc apartment isn’t a level playing field.
Nice. Working on my plan to spend more time in Espana. Will spend more time in Valencia this year and reach out for for your expertise. Keep the vid coming. T-
Great look at these apartments, even though they are luxury apartments on the higher end they are nicer than most apartment for $3k in North American cities (LA, NYC, Toronto, Miami and even Chicago) IMO housing prices in the US and Canada are overpriced/ over inflated and unaffordable for the middle class... even with high American salaries.
Really good points about the landlords treatment of foreigners especially for the non/lucrative visa. It's good to know that things are improving and its getting easier to get approved as a foreigner! It's still hit or miss in Madrid. It really depends on the comfort of the landlord or agency the owner has hired to manage the apartment.
Love your video about this two apartments. Thanks for sharing. We like to see some apartments during our visit to Valencia on September. Hope to chat with you soon 😊
Maybe you can make a video about over tourism. Lots off cities in Europe have this problem. Rome. Amsterdam. Venice ect. I see this also coming to Valencia. Lots off cheap tourism witch the cities are not profiting off.
Por cierto, los últimos se dieron por 6 meses y luego se ampliaron 6 meses más por el éxito de y demanda. Suerte si vienen, su agenda es trabajo por la mañana y playa y vida por la tarde.
You are comparing apples and oranges. Silly comparison, actually not a comparison at all. You forgot to take us by Valencia's Broadway, Museums, Art Galleries, the Ballet, Profession Sporting Venues, Major Concerts, World Class Restaurants and on and on.

Здравей Тони. Благодарности за видеата които правиш. Имаш ли идея да ни разкажеш каква работа може да се намери във Валенсия? Предполага се всеки решил да се мести ще има средно ниво на английски и испански.
Why the comparison to New York or LA?? Valencia is a nice city, but does not compare well to these cities. Madrid to NYC makes more sense... and even that is a stretch. I will say that I'm with you re the second apt - I'd happily pick that one as well =)
You are very beautiful lady, but also very smart I agree with you about United States. It’s not the way used to be I do not live in LA anymore I live in Florida my daughter lives in LA and I am very concerned about her because of the crime. good luck to you .
And within Europe particularly in Spain, and within Spain particularly in Valencia (average net salary probably around 1500 Euros/month =1650 USD/month)
For that reason she said LUXURY apartments XD. Obviously in Valencia, the rest of Spain and any other Europe country there are many regular apartments with regular prices too. Regards.
Thank you Antoanetta for the video but why would you be comparing an astronomically overpriced New York with a beautiful city like Valencia. Doing this justifies the astronomically overpriced apartments now in Valencia and I believe that's what these property owners are thinking..."compared to American cities we are 50% less here in Spain" Wow what a bargain. These prices are insane. If this is what's happening in Valencia ie.outsiders coming in from other overpriced locales and thinking "this is half what I was paying in Los Angeles etc.."then pretty soon regular people will not be able to afford the beautiful city of Valencia.
This is so unrealistic for most people. On your channel you talk a lot of negatives about a country who's economy has funded this European fantasy you push.

Nice apartments, but with Spain salaries, who can pay those rents?
The executives payed by multinationals!

Remember that the average salary in Valencia is literally a fraction (maybe a fifth or even less?) of that in San Francisco.
How about some reasonably priced apartments…these seem like their priced for deep-pocketed expats.

The Jim Carrey clip..😂😂😂 good one!
Love the video. Very nice apartments
Thanks! 😃
just remove the 3 from this figure and you have my perfect budget😂
😂
Great video!!! i love how modern the apartments are
Most apartments in Valencia do not look like this. They are small, poorly insulated and dated.
That is amazing, thanks for sharing.
Yikes, that is steep! I need to find the more budget-friendly alternatives.
Valencia property market has become incredibly expensive due to the influx of wealthy (compared to Spanish standards) foreigners.
This is one of the most expensive neighborhoods. If you go a little further from the center you can find bargains for less than 1000€ per month rent.
