- Let's try this again now that I've dropped $100 on a new mic. Might need to take a second adjusting audio at the start of the stream, but once that's done we should be back on the benevolence train.
"Benevolence" feels like semantic satiation at this point, just like the word "Imbecile" which we'll get soon
Ironically Sima Zhao ended up being an imbecile at the ending. After all, Sima Zhao had a mindset of showing mercy. Sima Zhao does not show mercy and so he calls mercy type of people imbeciles. Sima Zhao would not use his leadership position to conquer lands. Those who surrendered peacefully, Sima Zhao accepts. That is what was originally done using Shu's way but too bad that Jiang Wei did not keep his benevolence ways after the death of Zhuge Liang. Jiang Wei ended up fighting with hatred. I mean sure, Jiang Wei have a mindset of not giving up in physical fight but he had to end up giving in to hatred which don't fit the theme of benevolence.
The word "benevolence" was so great that it had to be said 18 times. Can't wait for the imbecile counter. I feel like I watched the first part before... Anyways, I'm just glad Yuan Shao and Ma Su had some screentime.

1:55:02. This will have to be the way on how the intro cutscene finally begins even if they never show it in the Shu Story. We all know this baby right here is how the intro cutscene got started. Now that would have to be how the intro cutscene got started. That intro cutscene had been revolved around Shu Story because in the intro cutscene, it is about Zhao Yun running away with a baby while fighting the rest of the troops and then getting reunited with his team. So it is proven that while Zhang Fei stayed to fight Zhao Yun runs away with a baby.

Weird that in the Wei Story, Zhang Fei would also be guarding the fire bridge but Cao Cao's campaign was never going to be about going after a baby. I know Cao Cao would attack the village. So Zhao Yun was just there protecting the baby even when that baby was never part of Cao Cao's target. Even if Zhang Fei were to be defeated in Wei Story Campaign, none will go after the baby regardless. So in Shu Story, Zhang Liao does not show up in a front line but in Wei Story, Zhang Liao shows up. So either way, Zhang Fei thinks he is helping Zhao Yun protecting a baby when all along, Cao Cao's forces were never after a baby to begin with.
3:22:29 Liao Hua survived the Fan Castle because he wasn't really there during Guan Yu's execution. Before it happened, Guan Yu intended to request reinforcements from the nearest Shu garrison and Liao Hua volunteered to become the messenger and left to Shangyong where Liu Feng and Meng Da were. However, both officers refused to send help because things weren't "stable" right now, so Liao Hua made haste to Chengdu instead. By the end of the Fan Castle campaign, Liu Bei not only went full berserk towards Wu but also to Meng Da and Liu Feng for not sending reinforcements when Guan Yu needed help so much. Fearing persecution, Meng Da defected to Wei and asked Liu Feng (Liu Bei's adoptive son btw) to defect as well, but Liu Feng refused and insisted on returning to Liu Bei only to be condemned until his foster father allowed him to commit suicide.
tl;dr by sheer dumb luck, Liao Hua dodged the bullet that was the Fan Castle raid and survived until the end of the Shu kingdom lmfao
I'm dumbfounded that Liao Hua is still a generic officer to this day in the dw saga, he literally has been there since the very beginning of Shu's foundation until Shu's fall

Cao Cao was defeated, humbled, and would not be so quick to attack, and Wu was indebted to Liu Bei for their help at Chi Bi, and so Liu Bei was finally free to build his power and establish Shu. Had Cao Cao died, Wu would have conquered much of Wei, and then likely turned against Shu.

That would have to be a reason why Zhunge Liang assigns this task to Guan Yu knowing that he will show mercy to Cao Cao. With Guan Yu giving Cao Cao a free pass to run which meant Shu cannot take credit for beating Wei. News about Wei's defeat cannot be spread due to Guan Yu letting Cao Cao live. So anyone who were to play Wei campaign would have to be part of the reason why Cao Cao had been a leader with nobody else to replace him until the final episode. All the other campaigns such as Wu, Jin, and Shu, the main leader did not wait for the final episode to die.
4:49:01. That is why Yue Yang wanted you to use her juggernauts. I know the 1st time I started story mode, I did not even know about building a skillset tree so stepping on land mines was automatic death. I had to use Yue Yang's tanks to pass the mines.
3:01:39. I would assume that in this position, they don't see Zhang He but in Wei Story, Zhang He was standing next to her archery partner.
