I'm just learning how some pitch dealers in my area could be dealing seconds or bottoms playing blackjack pitch... Great insight and video !!! I'm learning something new daily !!!

Really no reason to do this unless it’s a private game. Also in a pitch game of bj the deck should be angled down almost fully facing the players, as opposed to a very low angle + distance between the deck and the players at a poker table, all kinds of things in the way of your view at a poker table. If the bj dealer is dealing correctly it should be pretty easy to catch.
The reason these things work at a poker table is the ability to cover. A player in seat 1 to 4 has zero change to catch a bottom or second deal because of there position at the table. Seats 8 to 10 are much the same. The dealers hands cover everything in the process of dealing.
