I did exactly this 4 months ago on a completely new account, without p2w, without friends to help, just pure willpower. I currently have 6 1540+ chars, all very well equipped, and 2 are now arriving at Thaemine.
I am really looking forward to seeing you do this. I have an Aeromancer after you made a video recommending relaxing fun classes. And I totally agree. I had a sorc and it was so boring. With the Aeromancer I was just Zooming around fighting. So much fun. But then Akkan showed up and after g2 its too hard. The game is too hard. Im looking forward to the solo play. Then I will start playing again. Parked at 1620.
I actually did exactly this but changed regions. it took me about 2-3 months to get my main character up to 1555 and a few alts are low tier 3. I also did NOT use the powerpass on my main. the problem is getting higher and the fact that a new player won't know what class they love playing the most and will waste resources on mis-informed and bad decisions. that's what messed up my first roster and why I wanted to do this in the first place.

@@zealshighlights I did watch the video, you actually very specifically said you would not take outside donations and never said you would not party with anybody. Maybe rewatch your own video with that in mind and think about what you said vs what you think you meant? I was also replying to his comment directly because yes you mention solo raids over and over, but I took his comment as a pretty easy assumption once you run out of solo raids you.... do other raids?
Still play the game even with all the horrid raid design and fatigue. Plan on keep playing if possible. But holy F! This would be so painful to do today. I can’t image any new players who are not in a full carry group of friends playing lost ark right now. I actively tell my friends don’t touch this game even though the core gameplay is fantastic.
Good luck with that, I would rather suck pond skum through a straw than to redo this game again. It's hard enough now staying motivated with just the basic minimum than to ever regrind all the horizontal and then vertical again.
I think so too, but now they will divide it between 18, 24 and 30. Since Balthor, Azena and Wei are guaranteed by the merchant, so the real work is to get the rest to reach at least 24, which will be quite a lot.
picked a support literally a completely different game play style and experience to 90% of the rest of us who are dps and will definitely get gate kept....
Not sure what are you trying to prove? time = money. LA shop item upgrades and loot boxes = less time playing. No swiping = more time to catch up. More time in the game = more online friends = more practice raids = more gold = able to upgrade gears and catch up.
I bet at one point behind the scenes you will get donations or you will swipe. Moreso I also expect you to play with people that you know/viewers so you don't get gatekept.

That’s what vods are for lil friend. Only playing this on stream so it picks up where it was left off last stream.
