Pam, I love how you charge ahead, even with little sewing errors. You make magic every time you put out a video! I’m sitting here with my coffee on a Saturday morning, and you’ve put a smile on my face as I start my day. Thank you!
Good morning Pam! … er… afternoon! ❤️😁 so happy to see your video posted because it reminded me that today is indeed Saturday and not Sunday (as I had been thinking since 4 this morning 😀). Cute idea for old quilt pieces. I used to sew, but can neither cut straight nor stitch straight anymore. Your videos from ages ago convinced me to soldier on and stitch with reckless abandon. 👍Hope everyone is warm and happy and having a great weekend! ❤️
Good Morning Pam and Fellow Crafters. In our High School I didn’t want to take Home EC so I took woodshop Fun but I never learned to sew. Love all the fun ideas.
Morning Pam! I feel you, Girlfriend. I took 7th grade home ec back in the dark ages and learned pretty quickly that I did not inherit my mother's seamstress gene. Our goals in sewing class were a denim gym bag and a denim wrap around skirt. When I got done, you couldn't tell which was which. 😮 I do covet your sewing machine but considering my lack of acumen, my basic Singer does just fine. Actually, I think we should be proud to be the reason someone invented Fabri-fix. Love your nails - I do remember when you used to embellish your fingers with ink. 😊 Thanks for another fun video! Cheers from Denver CO!
Too funny same here. I had to do a denim wrap skirt. I never finished and gave it to another girl. Mother could sew without a pattern??!. FYI..they make a craft sewing machine for $40.
I love how you use the ruler to clear space on your desk. I usually pull out the ruler to clear off the remaining beads, split rings, sequence, and those other tiny things that are hard to separate out without the right tool, like a little scoop or old gift card, and/or the right storage drawer/tin/plastic container or a pouch to use to store them.
I like the pouch idea! A lot of times I have to think of something different to do with an unfinished craft project because I forget what I originally was doing with it! 😂
Pam, this is why we use pins when sewing, us professionals, at least, with quilted fabric, bcause it's known to wander away from the needle plate. But, you made up as best as you could. I mean, this is junk journaling for crying out loud. Go forth with reckless abandon!! The pouch works... this is a lovely idea Pam. Did you cut up an old quilt? It looks like the quilting may be machine stitched in a common pattern, so I'm thinking it's more contemporary, maybe 1980's or so. I love watching your videos, the struggles are real, the results are real, you are real. Thanks for being you. Hugs for Sunshine...he must bring sunshine into your life.
Hi Pam, oh, sunshine is so cute. I remember when you first got him. The pouch is darling, just a note. You could have put another piece of fabric over the cardboard then sewed it. So when you reach in the pouch you won't jab into the cardboard. Doing hand sewing, for the knot just put on one finger & twist around & pull & roll it down the thread & it'll knot by itself. The pouch is very cute. You have a wonderful weekend! Thanks for sharing! Merry Christmas! ♥️☺️🫂🤶🏻🎅🏻🎄🎁☃️❄️🌟🎉🍾
Good morning Pam. Getting closer to trying out the machine I'm wanting to sew so bad 😅 I took the class too but that was over 55 yrs ago never touched a sewing machine again always sewed by hand. Love ❤️ the Pouch Pam as usual. Your so creative.
I’m a complete newby to this and I’m so happy because I just bought a beautiful lace wedding dress and a veil for £13. I’ll be able to make loads of ephemera out of the both. Wish me luck!
Hello miss pam love this yeh that's the button I picked the first one and putting the gold guilding paste on very pretty hello sunshine and holly and Leonardo and happy and poppa ❤god bless you all and happy holidays
Love this idea. Watch your finger sewing. I have managed to run mine under the needle and thru my finger and thru my nail. Who knew that could happen 😆
Buongiorno Miss Pam and Poco Soleggiato (Little Sunny) It looks like UA-cam is throwing your time frame off! But no matter. I love this pocket idea. I was glad you picked the button you did. It looked like it was made for this design! The whole thing is just sooo cool!
How cute is that pouch!!! I have 3 sewing machines - one that is the basic from 1970 - the second one from 1990 and the last from 2018 when SEARS closed. The first two are real work horses the 2nd one has about 5 fancy stiches ( although sometimes it only zigs or zags but never zig zags) and the last 2018!!!! Unfortunately, this machine also only sews backwards!!!! Now I know why it was on sale!! Sadly, Sears went out of business the same year and my sewing machine repair guy passed during covid and would you believe it - he was the last!!! So it really doesn't matter how many stitches you have, the old ones were the best!!! My first one from 1970 doesn't like new thread!!! LOL!!
I’m still watching but it’s a a struggle to actually craft anything right now. I had a melanoma removed the day after I Thanksgiving from my head and inside my skull, so I’m weak I’m tired and I can’t think straight most of the time but I’m getting better I hope I start radiation soon. Plan to keep watching, your videos I love what you do. Thanks, Pam.
So .... I down sized the STUFF I was keeping in January 2020...so sort of bummed....BUT loving the space opened up..... debating the MATERIAL recollection. Looking for alternatives!
I have put my machine thru hell, now I know I need to take it to get all the tensions redone I have changed them so much I don’t know what’s going on ❣️‼️‼️

Gee it's been awhile since I've been able to play and listen to you. So good to hear your voice, just love to listen to you, you get me going!! Thanks
Oh my gosh, what a neat pouch! So handy to include with other projects!!!!! GREAT idea!!!!!!!

I love your project...it matches your nails...both so pretty. 😀
You can sew buttons on with your sewing machine. So fast and efficient.

Cute pouch! I love when projects start out as one item(journal cover) and then morph into entirely different projects (pouch). Very creative!

Do you think a blanket stitch would work if sewing by hand?
How about using a cloth placemat floded in half to make "book"?
UA-cam lookes for the number of comments a channel receives. Please leave Pam a few comments ❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤
It looks like you have gotten the nack of sewing ❤
