These videos crack me up. I was roughnecking when derricks were wood and roughnecks were iron. Biggest rig I ever worked on we had raise and lower the derrick twice a day. You kids now days think you're roughnecks when in reality you work on post hole diggers.

The Drawworks has to lift all the drillpipe you see on the left that is racked back. ..my guess is 5" Dia (not the tool joint at each end) That' is probably near a mile of pipe downhole and not all The rig mast and the rigs components are designed for this load. Drill Baby Drill !!
