- Hajj Prices made a huge jump for this year 2022 1443 h. Only 1 million Hujjaj are allowed. 150.000 from inside the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and 850 thousand from all around the world. Only few official statements are known like PCR Test and full vaccination. Also to be under 65 years old. But this should be more. Rumors and trues in this video.

so, the king who is responsible on Hajj left us to deal with private companies , and he will eventually get his share in the form of taxes. Mecca is not the king property and Hajj should be managed by a committee representing all Muslims.
Not the taxes are only the reason for the increasing of the haj. Mostly it is by the Hotel and the so called 'services' in Mina and Arafat

They aren’t exactly companies they’re mostly a family owned business where they own a hotel or bring hujjaj to other hotels, these people made their money through hajj. Due to Covid and the restrictions they made zero money because it’s their only source of income. I guess they just want to put food on their table since hajj is only a few days and the money they make should last them the whole year.
In the uk it cost my friends parents £8,500 each this year 2022 to do Hajj. Last year it was around £5000 (each person) to do hajj. Its becoming financially impossible to do Hajj

Hajj from the UK cost £11.000 this year. Many people didn't go. This is sadly becoming more of a business deal than a pilgrimage for Saudia Arabia. this pushing people away.

@@HajjUmrah I'm on my forties now, have a low pay, long hours lifestyle, and have completely ruled out hajj for the foreseeable future given the choice of paying my kids tuition fees and a deposit for a house OR a family hajj. I understand rizk is from Allah swt but feel like I fall in a non profitable segment of society not worth catering for by our muslim tavel sector, therefore will wait patiently and watch from afar.

Hajj is a sacred pilgrimage. However, there are people taking advantage to make money out of faith. The first would be the people who run the country allowing access, 2nd would be the core service providers and the 3rd would be the merchants who provide ancillary product/service. May Allah forgive us for our intentions and actions.

Aslm in South Africa the cost of gadj is dependent on the agents and the profit they want to make from the Hujaaj. We need minimum R100 000 to go on Hajh and that is just basic. Operators are fleecing the people who save their whole life for the honor of pilgrimage. Why are man so greedy. Each year more and more people are asking for higehr standard hotel with more luxury and always saying the same words: Money is not important it should be more luxury.

there are some diffrences with counries. For germany we go the normal Air condition in 2017. 2016 some Motawwif build tents with small climatization, but that was the worst idea i saw. 2017 the Muassasa build the tents with Air condition and charged around 1000 SAr per person. Without pre announcement.

My Hajj pilgrimage from July 27th/2019 to August 23rd/2019 was amazingly fulfilling in terms of strengthening of Eman and Taqwa;
It was an enchanting trip the moment we landed in Medina, where I spent five days in a hotel adjacent to the Prophet Mosque ; It was absolutely relaxing and reviving to the soul, praying in the Masjid El Nabawi ;
Then Mecca and the accomplishments of the myriads spiritual and religious rituals, that were originated by Ibrahim (AS), and performed by OUR BELOVED PROPHET AND HIS Glorious and Nobles Companions (RA)
indeed Hajj is different from any other worship.

Fasting in the atrocious summer heat ,going and praying in the Masjid El Nabawi in the unbearable heat of the summer, going on Jihad with absolutely very limited resources in the most unbearable circumstances, etc,etc,…How they were able to accomplish all of that , and much more , and then they went on to conquer the whole world with much ,much inferior wars equipments and armaments, while being numerically much less in numbers !

Dear Sir, I am a layman on religion intricacies. My question: in Quran or Hadees we don't see any references on cost to be Borne for undertaking of Hajj by the Hajees. Was there any such costs collected during the time of Prophet SAW or later time. Again Tax and VAT charges, are they relevant. Is this OK from Islamic point of view. Again Saudi Arabia adds many service improvements, capital development to help the Hajees. This can again adds up costs for the Hajees which many may find difficult to bear. Should such costs be Bourn by the pilgrims. We also see that many Muslims distribute free food, meals, fruits etc to the pilgrims. Instead can the government adjust this cost of free food by lowering prices of few services. Just an idea. While I write this I recognise the huge responsibility that Saudi government undertakes each year during Hajj time.
As far as I know, cost of Hajj is a pilgrims responsibility and that is one of the factors that makes Hajj waajib for an individual based on their ability. the Saudi government builds expensive infrastructure rising cost of Hajj reflects on the ability of people to make the hajj, so I hope that Hajj will continue to stay affordable for all Muslims and not just for select group of people. In places like Malaysia and indonesia the government have special Hajj funds that helps pilgrims too.

There is no fee for Hajj itself. The cost of Hajj is determined mostly by the agency that organize Hajj in each country and these costs include airplane tickets, rent food.... etc.
The man is talking about the cost of services and accommodations and not fees for performing Hajj.
Government has to have security and medical response on duty. You have to pay people for their services. But going to the extreme, don't agree. It costs to much, with that type money, is down payment on House or some property.

I really doubt if it is even admissable to do the hajj under these terrible financial conditions. It has noting to do anymore with faith.

Be very careful how you word your du'aa. I once witnessed an elderly African woman trying to leave the Haram but was afraid to get on the escalator as I'm quite sure she was not used to it. There were hundreds of hujjaaj (hajjis) who were "burdened" by her long hesitancy.

Your intention may have been a select people, but your wording wasn't restricted and can thus be applied to other than them. As a side point, it is from the way of the salaf to make du'aa for the rulers and not against them. I would advise you to ask Allah to guide them and grant them tawfeeq to do what is best for the ummah.

In the past when you tried to become a Haji you had to walk thousands of miles in deserts and dangerous places. A lot of people died on the way there. That's why it was a big thing to become a Haji. Now you sit on a plane with airconditioning and stay in a hotel there. That's not what it was meant for. It was meant to be a life changing situation because it was. There was a chance it was your last journey. So yes I think It costs a lot and its a shame but the meaning of Haji is not the same.
you dont have to travel too much in time. only thirty years ago we went by bus. normal tents in arafat and mina without AC. and no hotel. we stayed in houses and thats it. And it was a lifechanging soultreating experience.

hajj is only for arafat around 1000 Dollar brother. But problem is this is only for those who live in makkah. Others have to pay for other serviices also, wheich makes haj prices so high.
I have a relative who wend to hadj he had to pay 10.000 euro !! he had to take the most expansive ticket because he is from Europe otherwise he chough not go . it is getting very difficult to go to one of the blessed places on this earth.

Its not possible because of security and logistics reason. Imagine if it is your first time going there with nobody to guide you. I don't even dare to imagine it because I had experienced it with our group when a lady ( first timer revert ) got lost in the haram in Makkah.. especially if one has flights to catch and all its ramification

The guests of Allah Subhan wa Tallah are forced to pay for Saudis dirty war in Yemen. I know many brothers and sisters will be outraged by my comment but as unpalatable as it sounds this is the reality. We have been part of bribery when haj agents used to pay for the quota numbers pre covid. This bribery costs was than passed on to the hajis.
If that's true, they would not make a limit on the pelgrims. They would just put 10 million pelgrims if it was greed. Please inform yourself.

The Saudis blamed the middle men so the haj agents are no longer in business and are not required and yet the price has more than doubled. Please explain. There has never been age limitation since the dawn of our history which we now have.
