Try adding a curve to your roll controls. To me it looked like you were rolling way too hard and the a4 Manual suggests to add a curve. It will soften it and it will be easier
14:25 looks like someone needs to tweak their curves 😅 Not going to lie though, I've been practicing my aerial refueling and I'll spend 15 minutes just flying perfect formation with the tanker, inching closer to the basket, then suddenly get hit with the big stupid right before contact.

@@-Zevin- The F-16 is a super twitchy hair on fire dogfighter that they stuck bombs on later. The F-18 is more stable but not quite as good a bfm dogfighter. The f-18 being more stable and the basket refueling system being where you can see it just makes it easier. The f-16's refuel point is behind the cockpit on the planes back. Might be less annoying to refuel in reality land. It is a game after all so our input system may not be 100% accurate... I'd be surprised if it was 90%

The most "modern" aircraft I fly in DCS is the F-14, and mostly Mig-19/21 (who needs refueling when you are a little suicide rocket with wings) so I'm not too familiar with the fly by wire stuff and modern systems, I guess my assumption was the fly by wire would make it stable and easier.
Good morning everyone. I installed DCS openbeta via Steam. So far I've flown 250 hours on the A4E in single player. I would like to connect to enigma but I can't find Enigma in the server list. Can you explain the connection procedure to me? Thank you
@@chrisslybaer835 If you're on a very tight budget, you can buy just the A-10A or Su-25 module for $7.50 during the current sale. These are the FC3 versions (which means no clickable cockpit) but they are used on ECW and it will upgrade your account from a trial account to a paid one. Then you can download the A-4 Skyhawk community mod, which is also used on ECW. That would let you fly a couple of planes on ECW. (You could get the MiG-29 but it's a perk plane, and you would need another red plane like the Su-25 to be able to earn points first.)
@@Checklist_STT I have never really had that problem on the 21, looks to me to be a rookie pilot. When you get a feel for the AOA and speeds etc, you can keep it under control.
@-Zevin- I'm pretty sure it's a net code effect because in all the time I have flown it, I have never experienced it in my own plane, just when watching/fighting another Fishbed.

You can do it, I though the same until I master air refueling with F18 and move on to F15E

I really like BMS but content is much harder to make in BMS because the sorties are so much longer. I always try to do a BMS video when I can.

You are probably not on open beta. Multiplayer plays on open beta.

The wing rock? Looks normal to me at such high AoA, considering the plane doesn’t have slats or wing fences.
