There's only one version of the Quran
And what you're talking about is something else entirely
The Quran was originally preserved through memorization and we have historical evidence to support that claim, and you can fact check each individual memorizer throughout history from the time of the prophet until recent history
However when it came time to gather the scripture and unite it
Some people had verses written down on different rags scrolls and such
So when they gathered them all and then they brought the Quran memorizers including the eye witnesses who were at the prophet death bed, because angel Gibrael asked the prophet to recite the Quran three times before his death to check it's preservation and also to have witnesses there to be reminded of it
So now when the Quran verses were gathered they cross examined the verses that were given by the people who wrote them down with the memorizers to check it's validity
Some people added notes when they were hearing the verses and writing them down, like remarks or reminders similar to how you do when studying a book and highlight certain things and add your notes and such
So they cross examined it with the memorizers and then got rid of these writings that were man made
And then after unifying the quran and everyone agreed to it including the memorizers and the eye witnesses at the final recitations
All other Witten verses with man made editions such as notes and such were gathered and burned to prevent division and to uphold its preservation
Study your history before you speak please
As for the splitting of the moon
We do have eye witness testimony from historians who were not even muslims or arab

The Hafs qira'a has an extra word, huwa, in this verse. This makes the grammar different between these two Qur'ans. In the Hafs qira'a it is a sentence, Allah is the self-sufficient. While in the Warsh qira'a it is a phrase, Allah, the self-sufficient. Both Qur'ans are expressing the same idea but are doing it in different ways and as a result are recited differently.

Let's look at the verse first then i'll be explaining more in detail from chapter 86 verse 5
So let man observe from what he was created.He was created from a fluid, ejected,Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs.Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able.
Look now, in this verse there are 2 nouns:- One the man, other the fluid. Now look at the second verse before the word emerging, there is no stop there; its a continuation of what is being said . If it had referred to the fluid there would have been a dot there hence thereby referring to the immidiete noun but its not . In addition look at the last verse
Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able.
Here allah swt uses him, if the previous verse would have referred to the fluid the verse would have said it. But it clearly refers to a man. Hence the misconception that this verse was referring to the fluid is totally false rather it's referring to the man or fetus who will be in between the ribs and bone unborn. Hope it clears out the misconception. Quran is totally upto date to the modern science and does not go against the common knowledge that we have today.Afterall It's a divine book rather than a man made one . The language is pretty complex as it is more like a code hence the deciphering part has to be understood to be able to understand. Even Many scholars cannot decipher the exact meaning of what the verse states. Hence it takes lots of research and understanding to be able to understand it.
