I'm super excited in getting this guy since he's my most favorite out of all the on screen Predators. despite this being the 4th version of this character by Neca, it definitely looks like they've perfected him compared to the older releases. it would be interesting for someone to do a compare and contrast. but as far as paint scheme, articulation, and screen accuracy, this Ultimate version is by far the best that Neca has ever done with this character.
The V2 is still more accurate paint wise, I have both. They need to make one with a paint job that's between that one and this one lol, then it would be movie accurate

The nice thing about this release is I can have it posed with the mask and all that, and still have the last version for the cleaner film accurate look just standing straight elsewhere on the shelf. Aside from the Elder and City Hunter I had three of the original Lost Tribe releases. Initially I just got the Ultimate figures that were the upgrades of those three, but I caved and ordered Shaman given how great the redesign was, now Boar and Snake are tempting me, as is this figure. Scout and Warrior I might skip, sure they'd complete the set, but to me their designs are the least interesting, plus I've not got much space and I have to budget somewhere.
You gotta post a review of Boar soon man. There aren’t many reviews yet and I love seeing the photos you post at the end. They always give me ideas on new ways to display my figures and honestly I liked Boar way more than I expected to

Great video as always! The only negative thing I could say about prey is that they ignored the lore but still love the film, I just really loved the Golden Angel story.
Finally found this at my local Target. It's an amazing improvement to the original. Love that they used real metal rings for his tusk piercing. I did make a couple modifications though. In the film he held his machete in his left hand and the original Greyback had a great grasping hand for it but sadly, the left hands on this version can't ordinarily hold it...but I modded it by heating the grasping hand, and while the fingers were soft, I wrapped the fingers around a drill bit shaft roughly the same diameter as the machete handle. Use the smooth part, not the drilly part. I used that as a basis to glue the index finger to the thumb so it was closed more, then I followed that with gluing the middle finger to the index, the ring to the middle and the pinkie finger to the ring. When done he could hold the machete in his left hand. I made it so you can slide the machete through the hand blade first in either direction, you just need to leave enough clearance for the blade width. I did the same thing to an Armored Lost Predator so he could hold his sword in his left hand too only I had to make sure the sword pommel cleared the hand as THAT blade is a little too big to slip through his hand, but that pommel is smaller than the one on Elder. Worked well. Another thing I did was to modify the bone string that goes under his arm and make it into a necklace. I'm RELATIVELY sure that was how it was supposed to be. I also painted the three dots on his targeting laser in with red paint. I do like painting those on my NECA Preds. The Armored Lost Predator looks especially nice in that sea of black and metallic blue having the three red dots there.

Yeah the tubing what made me be very selective when collecting the neca Predator line, but overall the figure line is just awesome, and your videos keep making me want to get the predators with tubing or non-tubing regardless.
The helmets are awesome, but I displayed him unmasked only because his the only one of the tribe with the ring on his tusk so it makes his unmasked head unique in that way. I have the golden angel masked though.
I own the Golden Angel predator figure and I definitely love it. It was my first NECA figure. His sword broke though, which is very unfortunate. But other than that, it's an amazing figure.
I would love to see you do a video for both the neca avp elder and the ultimate boar predator considering I know you have them both. That would be really cool

@@rjzavala87 true. It only depends on the store where I got Guardian, Battle Damaged City Hunter and Battle Armour Lost Predator to get more of the other Lost Tribe members in stock. There is Scout Predator in stock there as well, maybe if I'm lucky I could get him.
They're really worth it, right now I have Stalker, Borg, Shaman, Scout, Warrior, and City hunter They share a lot of parts so it can feel like buying the same toy but everytime that box opens it is perfect, only got 4 left to go!!
The thing that bugs me about the Lost Tribe wave is they kept reusing the same skull and spine accessory over and over. They could've used the alien skulls from the trophy wall set. Or better yet, NECA should reissue the trophy wall accessory pack
The tubing on this one is stretchy nylon, so it is less likely to break. As such, I wonder why they excluded the chest tube, but retained the elbow tube.
He looks so much better as an older Predator than when he was young. I don't like that they made him look so drastically different with the bright green coloration in the comics. Oh well, this figure looks badass.
Well, you gotta remember, he was a hell of a lot younger, (almost 200 years older) I believe its quite natural that he had more color when he was younger.
Hi D! Big fan from Italy! A question: is it coming with 2 masked heads isn't it? I see a lot of promotional pics by local stores here in Italy, where they don't show the Golden angel masked head..but only the light up function elmet...Pretty weird, I was wondering if there are 2 packaging versions....
I wonder if you have any interest in getting the Movie Deco version of the Razor Claw Alien, which to me has the better paint scheme compared to the AVP version. that's going to be the next Alien figure on my list since I've found a copy at a near by Super Target store.
Hate to say it but that little tube isn’t missing intentionally, it’s in all the promo pictures, oops. On my Golden Angel predator they forgot the gold ring on the unmasked head. It’s a lucky dip with NECA sometimes. Might get this though, try my luck.

I wish they would have made the tubing detachable or at least one end detachable to avoid actual breakage. The paint deco looks superb on this guy.

Mine doesn't have it either. The 5 others at the store I bought it at also didn't have it. Seems like it's all of them
