I am not from Ghana but i can truly say that Kwame Nkrumah was a passionate and visionary leader, both for Ghana and Africa as a whole. And i can see similar traits passed over to his daughter, Samia. Keep up with the good spirit, madam and the great vision will one day be realized. God, the protector, knows the truth and He will always be watching. At Makerere University, Uganda, Nkrumah hall was my residence. God's blessings from Uganda.

In the name of God, if we cannot say thank you for what her father did for us, ( and by default, the suffering she has endured, not seeing him again after 1966), let us leave her alone. We have had time to know that, her father took nothing from Ghana except give. Please, allow her to sleep at night ( and walk freely in the day).

Nkrumah was a visionary of immense proportions who was far ahead of his contemporaries. Had we allowed him to govern, Ghana (and Africa at large) would have reached admirable milestones in development. We would have been an economic force to contend with world-widely.
Thank you Madam Samia for this interview- Especially for sharing with us what it was like growing up with your father, our hero. Well done Andy D for this one.!!!!!

My friend nkrumah was pan africanist, but not a great manager of ghana economy.Strong agriculture before industrialization.Currently ghana,is endowed with vast arable land, yet ghana is net food importer because of nkrumah rush to industrialize ghana overnight.Ghana retail sector is disordered and must be organised ASAP.The culture of highly fragmented open markets and hawkers work well in a country where government spending is insignificant,But not one with ambassadors and diplomats around the world.

Kwame Nkrumahs 7 year industrialization of Ghana and nation building was the best thing to happen to Ghana ,tell me what leader since his overthrow has being able to even build one factory .He built a factory in every agricultural community to make sure vegetables and root crops never go to waste .Its very sad to see anyone will dislike anything at all associated to Nkrumah the guy was the closest thing next to our saviour.Useless Rawlings,Afrifa,Acheampong they came stole and sold all that Nkrumah built within that short time he was in office .Rawlings stayed in office for 20 yrs what’s his fucking legacy ??Theft and corruption

Did you heard her saying the economy was good , the country was flourishing no she was talking in the in side. Plz come and and stop the ignorance.what ever you say can never tarnish the image of Nkrumah , he has made the name and a good one as such , you know that no president has a good name than Nkrumah. Sponsors of the coup : CIA
The traitors: Gen. Akwesi Afrifa. Tribe Asante
The then IGP ( inspector general of police) Mr. Halley. Tribe Ewe.
    Gen. Kotoka. Tribe Ewe.
How these traitors were dealt with: Mr. Halley was strangely the only traitor that got away with his crimes against our dear country Ghana
    .
Gen. Kotoka was cornered at our current International Airport and killed like a rat and his dick cut and put into his mouth by two brave Bono men, Auther and Yeboah.
Gen. Akwasi Afrifa was executed by AFRC. Military junta again Major Boakye Gyan a Bono man who led the coup that Rawlings later became the leader brought this traitor from his village Kofi Asie in Manpong Asante region and shot him at the Teshie military range. Again a Bono man who you have interview here has a lot to say on this subject.

I live in Canada for 25 years, if you want to have life you need to work hard to achieve it. If you live in Ghana the work we do out side we will not do it in Ghana. Also we don't like the truth one man is full mean every one is okay. Some one works hard to built a house a lazy who has no plans also want to have same thing so someone offered him a posion to kill the owner of the property he or she will do. we are free to go anywhere without police asked you a question. That freedom not mansions. Sorry I am not to there to hurt anyone but it time for us to do our home work. Dr Kwame Nkrumah's plan is any level of education you must have the job to feed, shelter your self, do we owe anything, because they loan and divided it to themselves and pay interest and put the money in the same bank they paying interest it's reasonable?. I don't care weather you are happy where are doesn't premit me to say the right thing. I saw wada Maya saying same thing and people from South Africa are insulation him. I understand the needs for facts to be documented, but I am really struggling to understand the aim of this soo call Andy D guy, bro what is your aim to this numerous witch-hunt interview you are carrying out to defame Rawlings and this particular one about Nkrumah, which in actual fact this two are the only two significant leaders we have ever had in Ghana, so far....so stop the rhetoric masa...first of all, you are too stiff, boring and one sided with your interviews, emulate your critical thinking please..about Lawyer, you saw how she answered your questions and enlightend you..hope she taught your ignorant self a good lesson...if you have any issue, you should focus on the CIA and MI 5 and their activities during this period.

Nkrumah was a dictator and owner of ghana. All the presidential palaces constructed during his reign and state cars, were for his pleasure and his Egyptian wife. However he neglected the need to save life,by not making provision of clean drinking water to every household topmost priority. So please I don't want any so called educated Ghanaian to lecture me that nkrumah didn't own a house or car.If you don't know, see one family stranglehold on a country called north Korea,The family government rather allocates resources to build bombs, while majority of the population hardly afford daily meal to survive.

Gordon, ‘ Osagyefo had no support’ even when he won two elections while in prison! Please remember, his party was banned after the overthrow; and also his detractors admit ( what ever the reasons were), they would never have been voted in through an election, hence to resort to a coup. Has development, infrastructure and leadership been better off since his overthrow? Assuming even that is the case, is that enough to scare a fatherless ( non government protected) orphan. We should be atoning for our sins, by taking care of these children ( now we know he left them nothing ) because he had nothing to leave them .
Anyway, we are reflections of governments that lead us; because as a race, we lack gratitude, that is why across the continent, we now have loot and share leaders.
As to Samia, marrying a ‘foreigner, is that comment not racist? Do we set out to marry ‘white’?and in any case , is she not missed race? What about the fact that her father himself officially married a ‘foreigner ( just like Rawlings mum-assuming they were married)?
Were we not the same sancophants that chanted, Fathia fata( suits) Nkrumah? Like I said, our ingratitude is why as a continent, we are where we are today.

@@Head_On you have no clue of what you are talking about it. Btw, growing up in Conakry, Dr. Nkrumah was our neighbour in coleah until his medical evacuation to Bucharest. I wish JJ Rawlings had line up general Ankrah and the former police commissioner and shot them.
