It’s just a version of a hook lift waste truck or cable pull waste truck, as has already been said we haven’t seen it unload. Presumably it will need to be pulled back while paying out the winch cable. Don’t get me wrong it’s a good effort but needs enhancements.

observation: As a jerry-rigger guy I'd say nice job but one possible negative. . . Requires lots of holes in new $70k truck beds.
That aside I'm a fan of trailers. I encourage guys to drop $3k on a cool safe trailer. Bling it out a little with upgraded bed and stuff. You'll forget the cost on the first use. And you can still use your truck bed for coolers and gear. Meant nicely.

Every biker with a truck has longed for a way to single handedly load his bike into the bed. This method is pretty good. But I've always wondered if there isn't some kind of lifting wheel method still to be discovered. I picture 2 old fashioned wagon wheels with a platform, on the ground in between the wheels. You roll the bike on the platform, roll the big wheels forward toward the truck bed, and the bike comes up, slides forward, and lands in the truck just as the wagon wheels hit the tailgate. Sounds crazy but I can dream, can't I.

You’d also be able to make this idea universal to any truck with the exception of a winch. But that way the truck can still be put to work on the week days, and quickly be ready for play on her off days...

Unloading probably doesn't need any engineeing. Those rollers will make it relatively easy to pull the platform backwards as the winch cable is let out. I could use a smaller version to load cargo through the side or back door of my van.

    Good idea and design.
If you wanted to you could
    run the wench cable through
a block and tackle and a snatch
    block for loading heavier loads
like mulch, dirt, or gravel with a
    bolt on dump container.
I mean, if you wanted too.

fkn awesome piece of ingenuity! You just sparked my copy-cat instinct. I was playing around with a winch to help pull my bike up on the hitch-mounted carrier, but this is also worth my 'project powers' too

I thought of this same idea to put a riding mower on my trailer because the cutting deck gets hung up on my ramps.but im going to use conveyor rollers on the bed of the trailer with the winch up in front of those.i was going to use a mower deck roller to guide the cable but i like your pulley better.thanks for posting this video.now i know it will work.
