his engine and coil set up are how they should come standard, this is perhaps the most logical and practical 70 build I have seen. *considering people will throw 20k at a rear setup and ignore the suspension*. Awsome rig man

Well done mate the two thing I hate about this toyota model and sold mine three months after owning it.
- 1st Toyota got it all wrong and some specs are just design issues. Australia should have never allowed it to be sold.
2nd, as a 4WD stock standard it's an accident ready to happen. And it tips over so easily. I found a Jeep wrengler to be a better vehicle stock standard it can do more then modified 76series. Toyota let down it's fans in this vehicle I wanted one for years and when I had the money to afford it I was shocked and sold it within months at a loss.

Just a shame that coin conversion cost 20k plus these days but stock they really should come coil converted and pull away from being the same set up as a 79

The 76 are a wagon 79 are a dual cab the 79 series wheelie bas is larger than the 76
yes,that 76 looks awfull short in length.bit tippy,,really,you need a 3m wheel base.longer the better.more room,more stable,less bumpety bump,bounce over bumps,but then,why buy a toyota.???.there garbage..good fit & finish,but gutless & expensive..plus,the 79 has 2 different width diffs,which YOU, have to fix as toyota wont..sad really..like i said,garbage vehicle..you cant turbo a non turbo toyota,the motor & box wont stand it,plus if you up the power on a 79,you need an,expensive clutch to cope with what i have std.there built to roll out the factory,period..........CANT BEAT DANA SPICER..a transfer case in an f100,6 cyl or 460,ci,will stand 500hp...go toyota,,yeehh...my 1965 transfer case is the same as the 2000 case.never changed,unlike toyota,every 6 months.rubbish.best toyota you can buy,is a nissan gu..!!!.

mate,buddy.get your head outa these ausie vids.i have a 6 cyl with 700nm,no computer,4.2tdi.jap stuff is crap.only mod was replace the td04 with a td06.basic diesel.13 lt 100.nothing good about a v8 diesel.99% of diesels in industry are 6 cyl or bigger.8/12/16/ect.no v config.a streight engine has more torque..fact..
