'not pressed' is speaking to my prugly loving heart.. I'm already imagining using different shimmers over it, like a glowy Blue to amp up the grunginess 🤩

That topper perfectly captures the fallen leaves vibe. I don’t like rushing fall, but I’m loving this collection.
These are great Fall colors! Not Pressed reminds me of our kitchen accessories in the 1970's, ha.
the Glossy Taco is indeed thick, I think it works well with glitter polishes but not cremes. My favorite glossy topcoat is Glisten and Glow.
It’s definitely intentionally thick. Pretty much every time Cristine uses it she says “nice thick glossy taco”

That base coat ticks all the boxes: good for nails, slightly blurring, ridge filling. Sounds perf.
I love your swatches because you always have short nails.... I am currently repairing some nasty damage done to my natural nails and they are shorter than they have been in a while.... So I enjoy seeing what the polishes look like on nails similar to mine.

Loved your video. I agree with you on Not Pressed with the topper being a favorite combo! I also like Nightshade cuz I’m a purple fan as well. The Grounded color was also very nice.

Great video! I absolutely love the topper. Brick Red does look really good on you. IDK if I'm brave enough for Not Pressed, but leaning toward picking up the whole collection and getting out of my comfort zone.

"anemic eggplant" hee hee! ☺ I love all of the fall colors, but definitely partial to Nightshade and with the topper, it is gorgeous 😍. I have also noticed Holo Taco to be a thick topcoat and it seems to thicken quickly over time as well. But that's ok, I make up for it by loving most all of their other polishes! Thank you for your review and for your sacrifice of wearing an autumn representative flannel shirt for the video. Time to get back into a tank now! 😅

I got the collection. I cant wait for sweater wrather. I live in Louisiana & this summer has been nothing short of brutal. I am looking forward to hoodies & fall/winter polish. 😊

I am impressed! Not that these creams are very unique to my collection, but if you dont have colors like this, these look great. The topper was a perfect touch as well. Only thing that was really negative was the top coat. Fantastic review Caitlin!

The topper is def my fav, but the cremes are just so good too even if they’re kinda basic colors lol i’m a sucker for basic 😅 i didn’t find my Glossy Taco to be super thick so that kind of sucks yours was already giving you bubbles :/

It would be great to get a comparison of fallen flake with KB Shimmers take it or leaf it.
Took me a few colors to get that that’s the same topper on all of them 😂 generally muted creams are as far from my prefs as it gets, but I really respect brands who make unique cream colors because that is not easy to do. These seem really rich!
Wow, I actually loved all of these shades. I do think I am going to pick up that conditioning base coat- it looks like the perfect prep for crème Polish. I don’t normally love purple polishes, but that nightshade was really pretty. Thanks for your great reviews-I really appreciate seeing these in different lighting scenarios.

These were very pretty, especially with that topper. We have over a month of Summer still so, I'm so not ready for the Fall yet. I mean I would like my 100° Temps to drop a little, that's for sure. Lol

You have to have a light hand and be very precise. It takes practice and sometimes I still make a mess lol

I used to love ht top coat unfortunately the bubbles and the thickness would ruin my manicure each time . I tried different bottles but each bottle had the same issues I stopped buying it. If I have bubbles on my naiIs I can’t stop looking at the bubbles it bothers me. Thank you for the swatches .

I find it only gets bubbly when you shake it, or pump the brush in the bottle a lot if that helps
Love the topper, been on a no buy since PBE but I might have to make an exception.
I love Smoothing Base. It is a staple for me. Glossy Taco is thick. I used my rewards points to get a set of the wide brushes. Switching out the skinny brush for the thicker brush made a better application of Glossy Taco
You’re right the wide brush would help. I should try that. It’s tooooo thick
Holo Taco formula overall is a bit too thick for my liking, but the quality is still really great. These colors are gorgeous.
Loved your review! I usually don't buy a lot of Holo Taco because it's a bit pricy, especially for creams as I can definitely find a cheaper one that is just as good. For some reason though this collection of colors spoke VERY strongly to me and I bought them all lol. They fit fall perfectly I feel and I love the topper, they really nailed the fallen leaves look I think. I'm curious what base coats you use and recommend? I've started using Cuticula Limitless because of you and I love it!

these are such gorgeous cremes! stay grounded + not pressed could combo to a caramel apple nail art. all these shades made me slightly think about autumnal treats.
do you recommend a particular base coat to prevent staining? i've definitely gotten stained nails despite using a base coat, so i'm wondering if there are particular ones that are best.
The ones that have a blue/green tint are usually best for preventing stains.

Yeah, Glossy Taco is pretty thick. I tend to use it to smooth out glitters.
Giggling at your comment about seeing people in public who don’t have a top coat on. I’m so with you. I just want to help and make a suggestion but obviously I don’t. I just cringe deep inside and smile.
oh my gosh you saying how people will wear cremes without top coat reminds me of one of my coworkers, she told me she never wears top coat when she paints her nails because she doesn't see the point to it and a part of me died that day LOL nothing I said made her consider top coat :,) anyway i love this collection, brick wall with the topper is my favorite i think!

Oh, Glossy Taco isn't thick for me, certainly not as a new bottle. It doesn't seem thicker or thinner than other quick-dry top coats from other brands. You may need to thin it, I wonder if temperature changes affected it somehow.
I will try thinning it!
I love holo taco but i hate glossy taco
Good to know. I’m not impressed so far and seems inconsistent. Some people say it’s thick others say it’s okay.
@@CaitlinSwatches i only bought it once and it got gummy after the second use. Thinner didn't fix it,so now i use drug store top coats or glisten and glow
