    Genius! I've never heard of a thread bed and have been stitching but 30 years I'll definitely make one. Thanks for the excellent video.

    Your instructions are great and I just made one. It turned out really well and gave me a chance to practice my corners. I don't have any snaps so I'm just using a small binder clip. Thank you for taking the time to make this video.

    Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial, and. for the link to the snaps with tools. I want to add matching thread beds to some project bags I am giving as gifts at a retreat. Just what I was looking for.

    Thank you so much. I’ve been wanting one of these for each of my projects since I use silk thread and I like to use every last bit of thread but even one was too pricey on Etsy now I can afford to have one in every single project bag thank you thank you thank you!

    I've made a couple of these but I've found that my threads get all messed up once the folder is closed so I'm going to attach a divider piece in the middle to keep the sides apart

    Please forgive my ignorance, but what are these used for, and how are they used? I'm guessing it's a way to keep your floss organized?

    Excuse my silly question but is a thread bed somewhere to throw the odds and end?

    • @laurab5889
      @laurab5889  7 місяців тому +1

      Yes that’s exactly it & it’s made with a fabric that the threads cling too

    Pardon my ignorance, but is a thread bed meant to store floss clippings?

      @laurab5889  6 місяців тому

      Yes exactly! They stick to the interfacing I use so they don’t make a mess ☺️
