- President Joe Biden is set to call for a constitutional amendment stripping the president of immunity for crimes committed while in office, term limits for Supreme Court justices, and a binding code of conduct for the high court, according to a White House official. The president will lay out his proposals at a celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act at the Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library in Austin, Texas.

The current Supreme Court has a rightwing extremist supermajority, so it certainly needs reforms. But you can't impose term limits on Supreme Court justices, or even federal judges, without a constitutional amendment.
