Awwwww! He's drinking from the container you dont like! LOL! Butternut is so sweet. I'm sure he's thrilled with his new enclosure! He looked so happy🐢🌿 on top of his log🌴, while hidden in the deep🏞 dark🌳🌲🌴 forest!🌳🪴🌲🌴

He's so cute. I reckon a slightly bigger/higher enclosure with a bit of a see through area looking out over the garden and outdoor pond would be even nicer maybe 🤗 just a thought that pop into my head when you said that he's probably going to be in a bigger one at some point. Thank you for doing these videos etc. Love then, my husband does too, we watch them every night together (well if they on before sleep time,lol). Thank you again 😊 x

@@DanTheTurtleMan_ it just popped into my head because my grandtort Norbert has a 'table' and he has a a section with perspex in it where he can watch the tv ect from 😊 x
@@DanTheTurtleMan_ although with the perspex, you do have to change it every now and again because it gets scratches, especially if they try to climb up it x

The multiple trips to so many hardware/landscaping/plant stores to make an enclosure really hit me lol
zoo med has small wood tortoise habitats, maybe replicate that with pond liner to hold water? for butter nut. or maybe a diy semiaquatic tortoise table?

I put my baby out side during the day and take her in at night she loves the sun and plants
