Good Day Mr. Plante, Hope ur doing fine... You said you repair these machines. Where and how did you learn to do that? And how do u procure the spare parts for the same? My parents think about the machine as a nuisance if they buy it and also as a useless thing as there are very few repair shops also, but if i learn to repair it, work is easy... Hence
Thank you very much for your comment and inquiry. I established my expertise and knowledge primarily through a life-long interest and 15 years of trail-and-error experimentation, research and the irreplaceable and insurmountably valuable community of typewriter aficionados. The typewriter is a tool of great importance to anyone establishing an interest and talent in writing and language in the modern era. The unforgiving nature and focused experience of a manual typewriter will give you a benefit in the purity of your work. I will praise modern technology for forming an alternative to the "Classic' typewriter shop in that there are thousands of highly knowledgeable individuals that can assist you in the upkeep of your typewriter. And I've also come to discover fanatics come out of the woodwork as soon as you make it known you are passionate. Good luck, keep on keeping on, and happy typing! ~ Dirk

Ne ho appena comprata una per 35 euro, perfettamente funzionante, tastiera in ottimo stato, martelletti integri 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Is your machine Dutch or German? Later in their years of offering typewriters, Remington went to other countries other than state side for production.
This typewriter had a Dutch keyboard with the 'Gulden' symbol and the common-place 'ij' combination.
i have purchased this same typewriter on ebay couple days ago
it hasnt arrived yet but post says it may come this week
any helpful tips for this type?
