BTW speaking of highways being boring af...
During the summer I mustered the courage to attempt the installation of an after-market cruise control McCruise onto my CB1k. (My auth. Honda service shop told me to go F myself, respectfully.)
Fortunately the guide was thorough enough and stupid-proof that even I managed to succeed. 👍
Ah nice. I am considering one too, but haven’t researched them. How are you find your McCruise cruise control?? Would you recommend??
@@v79moto Absolutely would, it does exactly what I had hoped it would.
I don't know if there is n (electronic) alternative from another manufacturer. I didn't want to go with one of those mechanical ones that physically hold the grip.
Highways have become bearable for me! 👍😁
1) The tiny antennas got torn away pretty much instantly on mine, so pulling the plug out of the ear canal is a bit complicated.
2) If you plan to keep the pouch on your bike keys it will be exposed to elements and will disintegrate pretty quickly.
That said, I don't feel like switching to anything else ever again.
Ooh I see, I have mine for about 2 months, maybe too soon to find out future issues.
I keep them on my jacket pocket or tank bag.
For the price/quality I feel is 100% worth it, even if you have to replace them every now and then.
