Evil Ed did a great job with those Heavy Star Wars, thanks for letting me know about them. Also I thought another niche that isn't covered that much are fan made movies. But then again, you might have to be critical of passionate people working on a small budget trying to get into the business.
Oh, there are SO MANY fan films out there! But yeah...I wouldn't want to criticize them like that. It would end up the same way - more of a promotional thing rather than real criticism, which I just am not into.
6:38 this is why I don’t release edits nearly as often as I used to. I want my edits to be transformative and I almost dread more simple projects, as I don’t feel like I’m doing enough.
I can see that - I also don't want to give anyone a complex or anything!
@@order42show why don’t you want to give anyone a collection of similar buildings on the same site?
Oh, you!
There are alot of bad fan edits out there, just like there are alot of lame movies out there, but sometimes, every now and then, we get some really good ones.
And the same can be said for fan-edits!
Absolutely, but I’d rather search them out myself and try to enjoy them on their own. If one is REALLY special, then I can do a review.
I got into fan editing a few years ago. Met some great people but I've also seen the nasty side of the so called..."community."
I would suggest simply reviewing only the fan edits that have surpassed the original theatrical versions for you. If you check out a fan edit and know that this new version is now your definitive version, do a video on those. If the edit is not replacing your blu ray, don't bother. Just a suggestion. I've seen a lot of fan edits I dislike or think are terrible, I never review those. The ones I love I'm always sure to leave a review for.
Have a good one
Oh, for sure. But also, the history of film is vast, and there’s still so much to see!
ive done a fanedit of katara please review
You know…I don’t think I will. 😆
I was only here for the Indian stuff, so I am out of here!!! Byeeeeee......
......NOT! (And you know it)
I really enjoy any of your reviews and we are most often in sync so it is also a great way for me to know if I should watch a movie or not. :)
It's also a great way to stay in touch with my pal, Rob! :)
I wish I could hang out in more live streams though, but I am more or less asleep everytime you stream as you know. :)
I have my UA-cam channel for the same reasons more or less. I put something out that I want to share and sometimes it gets popular and sometimes not. So it's more for my own sake to have an outlet rather than creating entertainment for others. But with that said it's of course emotionally very rewarding if I make something that someone else also liked, of course. :)
Oh, I thought you were only here for the twerking! 😆
@@order42show Shhhh... that's my secret desire...
Hey yo! Never seen that many foreign movies. Give me some recommendations.
BTW I was bored watching Civil War I thought it was going to be so different no Ironman or Captain America
Oh, boy…!
So, you could rarely go wrong with most foreign Academy Award winners, but, I’ll give you a few.
Japan - Seven Samurai by Akira Kurosawa is SOOO good (as are almost all of Kurosawa’s films), and was the basis for The Magnificent Seven. Incidentally, his film “The Hidden Fortress” influenced George Lucas’ Star Wars HEAVILY. Very cool! (You could also watch Godzilla Minus One if you want a more recent movie.)
France - Anatomy of a Fall won Best Original Screenplay this past Oscars, and I thought it was great! Amelie from 2001 is also awesome.
Germany - Das Boot from 1981 is a friggin’ classic. I haven’t seen All Quiet on the Western Front yet (I want to watch the old version first), but it’s available on Netflix and have heard it’s fantastic. (By the way, the German show “Dark” was amazing, also on Netflix!)
Spain - The Society of the Snow - this was up for Best Foreign Film last year, and it was really good! It’s available on Netflix, too.
I’m still making my way through some of the “classic” foreign cinema like Fellini and Bergman, but that’ll get you going. Of course, I love my martial arts films from China and Hong Kong, but there are SO many out there!
(I think you may have been thinking of a different Civil War…😉)
12:56 u can break that record but u need to review movies at the time of release.. Just like u did it with kantara.. Once the movies one or two months older.. Nobody wants to see that movie reviews...
N four months back... I recommended u..... Madras cafe.. 2013.....but i think u r busy....
Well…that’s not what I’m in this for. I don’t really care that much about views.
17:28 i never paid a single penny for any movies... Just download from websites there are thousands of that... N I m talking about India don't know anything about states.. What is the rules for downloading movies...
Honestly…I watched the trailer and it didn’t do anything for me. 🤷🏻♂️
Well, finding the movies isn’t an issue…finding subtitles in English is the problem.
