  • In this video, we will demonstrate how easy it is to replace your batteries on a Pride Mobility Go-Go Travel scooter. We will cover both sizes of the Travel scooter pack in case you have the standard 12ah size or the larger 18ah size. This can be done at home within 20 mins. If you have a 12v12ah battery pack you only need a 6in #2 Phillips screwdriver! If you have the larger 12v18ah pack that is found on the go go sport of the elite traveler you will need a drill or some snips as well. Keep in mind our lithium battery has more capacity as well so the 12ah is now an 18ah and the 18ah is now a 23ah size. On top have a better battery you also get more capacity!
The number one question we get from our customers is how can I get more distance from my current mobility scooter? Well, we have the answer and it is an easy one! Ditch your old sealed acid battery and get what all the smart people are using our ‪@DakotaLithium‬ upgrade! If you watch my other video where I took the standard batteries out and then replaced them with lithium, the results were nothing but short of amazing! The scooter had a max range of 8 miles and I could get it to do 18miles at full speed! That's over 100% improvement in distance + the batter is lighter + has 10 years more warranty. What are you even reading this for call us! 866 935 1069
This video covers the Pride Mobility Go-Go Line, if you have a brand new scooter or your scooter is still under the manufacturer's warranty this will void your warranty. We know that our battery warranty is much longer than the scooters, so just give us a call whenever you are ready!
Scooters this will work for : go go sport, go go elite traveler ( plus included ) , go go ultra x, go go lx.

I probably have said this before, in regards the section in manufatures owners manuals and service guides, the manufacture warning owners do not use any two way radio device. Talking from expierence, I've use a two way radio while operating my scooter without interruption to the scooter's motor. However, i can't say that for any scooter, but the mid to large size, there shouldn't be any issues. I mean if all the connections are secured and the cables are properly shielded, I say why not, I don't really see a problem using a UHF / VHF two way radios or mobile phones. Of course using a old school CB Hand Held, because of AM carrier, AM picks up noise from electric motors more so then FM. Those Bubble Pack FRS / GMRS radios shouldn't have too much of an effect or even the VHF MURS, which you'll see Walmart Sams Club associates use them. I don't condone holding a heavy conversation while driving, but I won't rule out using two way either for work or play while operating a scooter. Scooters, such the GOGO series I wouldn't use while moving.

Hey we question for you I opened the lid of my go go elite traveller but it has nuts and not screws I'm so confused as to how to install it. I know it's simpler but yours is completely different. Lithium batteries die out at 24 volts 80%, and the LeadAcid scooter guage is for 24volt max; meaning your guage wont be accurate or dependable. Adding a resistor to the old charge gauge will likely work, or a switched resistor for both Lead Acid or Lithium. There's also a round 30mm lithium guage listed on aliexpress which is merely a volt meter; but will work once you learn to keep it charged above 80% (20% run range). Also, the new gogo lithium scooter's guage may be an easy swap-out... Can't make up my mind on which way to go; a, b, or c?

I hate to say but as of now I can’t recommend buying any Pride mobility stuff. Unless they can get their act together on getting stuff fixed under warranty. I have a Pride raptor I bought and revived in June and it broke in July. Factory defect. Well as of this day Pride still has not sent the parts or even a tracking number to WSR who they using for warranty work. This is unacceptable for a company that makes a scooter that I paired $2500 for and can’t even use it. I don’t blame you all at Mobility Direct for selling it to me but I sure blame pride for not standing behind their product

I was going to have these instead of the basic type batteries i have at present. But, i was told i had to have certain things changed on my scooter first to make it compatible with Lithium powered batteries Costing me no less than £200+ ( $ 250 to 300approx poss more!!!! ) without the batteries at another additional cost of about £400 + a pair of those fantastic Dakota Lithium batteries possibly more So, average cost of about £600+ minimum. Of which i sadly can't afford. So, i sadly have to just put up with these things on a limited range. WORSE!!! when it is in very cold weather a few hundred yards if i am lucky So, i become literally housebound because these batteries really hate & it doesn't work in cold weather. If i could i wouldn't hesitate to have my scooter converted to use Lithium batteries ( if conversion wasn't needed or so expensive.) Maybe one day i might get it done but, it really looks like it never will. 😮😟😟😟😟 So, i have to put up with these things. 😠👎
