I've driven through Marmora many times, but had no idea that there was a huge open pit mine there. Thanks for sharing :)
We purposely went to Marmora Mine because we were headed also to the suspension bridge and huge tooney statue in Campbellford. It's alarming how much we haven't seen of our own province. ;) Thanks for watching!
Local people don't pronounce the o in the name. We say it more like marmra.
