    i was 13 in 1973 my mum got me a drape from a shop in leeds from that day i was a teddyboy love the music the life style now i am 55 and going to leeds for a fitting for a new drape suit i also go to as meny rnr festivals that i can around the country last one was the atomic vintage festival in august 2016 had a great time LONG LIVE THE TEDS

      which tailor in leeds im 20 and a new ted if you will and im looking for a drape tailor i live in york but only guy to do them has retired so looking for other ted tailors

    even back in the 70,s we used to go all over to rock n roll dances and we never ever saw any fights everyone just went for a great time

    I'd Like To Say , Concerning Me , That I'm Born In 1963 , And I Started Becoming A Teddy-Boy In End Of 1979 / Beginning 1980 . And I'm Still A Teddy-Boy ! Rockabilly & Rock'N'Roll Will Never Die ! I Even Remember My First Show : I Saw Warren SMITH & Billy Lee RILEY In November 1979 At The Venue Called " Le Palace " In Paris ! Rockin' Wishes From Paris , France !

    Rock 'n' Roll lives forever, not over keen on the garish drapes though, they're always best in dark colours.

    the edwardian society seem a well intentioned passionate bunch but us punkis got a very hard time from TEDS in the '70's in Dublin.And some of the ted showbands like Coast To Coast,Rocky Sharp and the Replays,Rubettes,Mud,Wizzard,and Showaddywaddy and Sha Na Na were crap.

    Dreadful. Lazy programme making from the BBC. More a reflection on a Teds or Rock n Roll weekender than actual 1950s youth culture.
