Bravo! 👏BTW: Do you find the bow a bit heavy while maintaining it in a horizontal position while playing the cello which is in a standing vertical position, more or less?
Thanks! And although a cello bow is heavier, it doesn't feel heavy because the bow rests on the strings. Getting used to the right movement was the biggest struggle.
The cello appears full size, or 4/4 size. As for Marijke, she is 5' 8" or 176.784 cm tall. That shouldn't be a surprise being that she is from the Netherlands aka: the land of the giants. 😉
I'm 173 cm (5' 8") and the cello is 4/4. Yes, I'm from the land of giants, haha. And I'm not even considered tall here, maybe slightly above average height.
