love this - would be great to see more short scenes like this together
We'll definitely keep uploading shorter stuff like this!
The colour grading is over 9000!
Thanks a lot!
sick bro
This is one of the best color grades I've seen! Wow. Really like the vibe of it!
Thanks a lot for watching !
@@meliorstudios np 👌
Magnificent! 🌹🌹🌹
Thank you!
Super sick!
Thanks man!
Hey man this looks pretty sick! I wanted to know what were your inputs and outputs settings during color space transform?
Thanks man! And we go over our exact setting including the input output settings in this video: ua-cam.com/video/KVQpLqf0kPw/v-deo.html
yo please drop the color grade tutorial oh my gawd :0 nice scene broski
Will be dropping the tutorial for this look soon! Thanks Lukas
Wow
Thanks!
Amazing footage man 🙏🙏🙏
Is it possible to use cineprint with just regular footage not slog footage ?? Also do you use a cst or do u use the one in the node tree in the cineprint ?
Thanks! And CST is built into the cineprint node tree which means you’re able to use the powergrade for any footage
Great Video! Song Name Please.
Thanks! and W by Scott James
inspiring channel ❤️
Thanks Dolphin ❤️
what’s your video settings on your camera ?
Picture profile 7. Slog 2 with ITU.709 gamma
Expose +2 stops
Why do you use Color gamma itu 709 and not s-gamut?
With ITU.709 gamma you get less Magenta colour shift than using S-gamut. Skin tones look more natural
Caleb from DSLR video shooter has a good video explaining it: ua-cam.com/video/CvMM3SSepn8/v-deo.html
@@meliorstudios Thanks! recently I got handed a project shot in slog 2 and s-gamut and it was really bad to work with
@@tomasgomez1906 yes S-gamut is hard to work with in post. I advice trying ITU709. It made our post production workflow much better

Are this clip shoot on 8 bit?
Yes it was shot on the Sony A7iii which shoot 8-bit footage
i wanna learn so bad this style of color grading, do you recommend me some courses or how can i start learning to color grade my videos? beautiful shot
Hey Daniel, we used the cine print 16 film emulation as a base for this (by Tom Bolles on UA-cam). Then some simple colour maskes to bring out the colour of the grass and jackets. We recommend the Waqazi colourist channel for that. Thanks again!
@@meliorstudios oh wow, thanks for the info. congrats for the amazing result, very gorgeous shots
@@danieldavid9038 thanks a lot David, we really appreciate it
Any way I could get this same look with a cheaper Sony camera?
Which Sony camera are are you thinking of?:)
@@meliorstudios I wanna get the same look but with a cheaper camera any ideas? :)
@@Sosa-gs3rz maybe the Sony a6300 or bmpcc 4k?
@@Sosa-gs3rz sony a6500*
@@meliorstudios any other cameras besides Sony that would be able to get the same look?
i need to know how make this.
We’ll make a colour grading tutorial soon! 😊
Would you always overexpose a little when you know you are going to use cineprint 16 for an example? I shot at night the other day and a lot of my clips are really dark. I use the Panasonic S1
We try expose as perfectly as we can when just as we normally would. Cineprint 16 works best with footage exposed correctly however for footage shot in lower light we’ve found using the Printfilm look instead of the Cineon look works much better
I’m assuming you work with davinci?
Davinci forever
Absolutely love your stuff! Would love to connect!
Thanks man! and we'd love to, are you based in the UK? Also your Cherry tree video was awesome! Love the grade on the headshot
@@meliorstudios Based in the US unfortunately. And thank you, that one was a lot of fun to make!
@@SwitchYouth ah man, let us know if you’re ever in the UK!
what song is this?

how do you zoom without losing focus?
We actually added the zoom in post just using keyframes
The technique is to record in higher quality, if your video will be in 2k, the scenes you want to zoom in, you record in 4k, so you can zoom in on post, going from 4k to 2k as your timeline, so you will never lose quality or You will see those pixels that subtract your video's perfectionality, boom, you already have a cinematic effect in seconds!
@@andreemartinez7813 exactly!!! We shot this in 4K and only zoomed in about 200% so shot was still in 2K at least
purchase a parfocal cinematic lens it will give you that cinematic look that doesn’t blur on zoom most lenses are varifocal
tyler, the creator vibes
We love Tyler! Thanks Jakob
Color Grading 8 out of 10
Story telling .....
🙏🏽
Doesn't looks like 8bit footage
We'll take it
So noisy camera hahah, fullframe suck :D Kiddin
