Love the story of Jerry Seinfeld wanted to be on South Park. Trey and Matt told him yes, they told him 'We want you to be turkey #6 of the killer turkeys' Seinfeld was like no freaking way, I want a speaking role. Seinfeld never did South Park
yeah, and that was very early, back when they had celebs doing random voices like that, e.g. Clooney was Sparky the gay dog, and others with even more minor roles. They weren't even picking on Jerry; he was just too proud.
@@johnLennon255 Yeah but they also had the benefit of competing against nobody else. It's like radio executives were executing the funny people during job interviews so they could hire Eminem or Cumsock and Bongo in the morning. Most people aren't listening to the entire show, they're listening to the highlights which are selected for quality and memorability. I like both shows but in hour+ long chunks they could randomly veer into aggressively boring, stupid and sanctimonious. I'd rather listen to static.
This is the first time I've ever seen a photo of Gottfried with his eyes fully opened.
Funny
Within ten seconds, Gilbert has me rolling lol “I’ll call you right back, thanks”
Gilbert did a better Seinfeld than Seinfeld himself
Better Dice than Dice as well
“Hey beetlejuice…whyyyy do they call you beetlejuice? Why not beetle soda? Why not beetle soft drink? Whyyyy not cockroach juiceee!!!”
Nah, he's too funny to be a good Seinfeld. Being unfunny is endemic to Seinfeld.

@@quackman I think Jay Leno is Cartman's cat (i.e. "No, kitty, this is my pot pie!")
7:33 Gilbert in Jerry's voice: "WHAT are these people eating?!" Cut to Gilbert's loud laugh 😂😂😂
I heard this live at the time being a listener back in the day. Gottfried was the best of the best
When they talked about Jews the answering machine stopped
Shut it down goy
Jerry's machine ended at 8:55 😂
Gilbert Gottfried is awesome lmao
I'd never heard Mr. Gottfried do jerry until today holy hell
"Who invented the comb?"
“Who Rrrrr these people?!”
I’m an O&A fan but I wish Gilbert went on both shows his sense of humor and impressions are brilliant
Oh you're an Opie and Anthony fan, that means you were the one, I'm sure you're the person who emailed Eric the Midget right
@@IAEMThatIAEManthony and jimmy are just as funny as Howard and artie tbh

The combined genius of Gilbert and Ant would’ve made our heads explode

Whats the deal with salmonella? It doesn't come from salmon, it comes from chickens. Why don't we call it chickenella?
not pc enough for me, a college student.
@@simonh9987 I'm not voting for joe biden bc seinfeld triggered me too hard. Also because his wife hired a man to point a gun at my head.
the bit about the rugs we good enough to be an actual seinfeld bit. And he came up with it on the fly.
The fact he could rattle off these things in half a second that Jerry probably had to think about is the real insult
God he was so fuxking funny
Hilarious
Too Soon
Who invented the comb
all time favorite Seinfeld Jr. line 😂
