Pretty much everyone agrees that this album is a complete mess. What isn't agreed on is if it works or not. I expected this album to get QUITE the reception range when I listened to it and from what I've witnessed, it seems I'm right about that. I personally enjoyed this complete mess a lot on first listen (that tends to happen a good amount of the time), but it'll be interesting to see if that stays the same as time goes on.
I like this album but I admit the moments that did suck stuck out much more frequently. n/A literally sounds like Oli Sykes singing over Weezer’s “All My Favourite Songs” and “Where Is My Mind?” Yeah I know you cannot unhear it.
I mean it's an album that wears its influence on its sleeve on multiple songs. MCR, Weezer, Deftones etc. It doesn't automatically make those songs bad

I never understood why people desperately cling to something thats already been lost for years.. so how about ending this dilemma and just shave your head man.. you'll look at least 10 years younger.
I knew you were gonna dislike this, I knew Fantano would suddenly flip all of his opinions to hate as soon as it dropped, I was right that rocked and artv would like it, and surprised to find Bradtaste loved it. I will admit I wasnt sure about it myself - diehard fan of the band though I am, and I think after watching Brads video/stream [I usually attempt to have fully formulated beta opinions before I see a single review yet there I was watching Brad give opinions on it for multiple hours, however he had people on call explaining the lore and intent of the songs and] once somebody more skilled at derivng concept lore than myself explained it, and I got another half dozen ssolo listens, Ive come around. I liked all 6 singles already, and the rest having less smooth production no longer feels... off, like it did initially. I will go to bat and explain that in the time since Jordan leaving theres been sufficient evidence to indicate Fish left amicably [ I will miss his production though] and that those who still holding on to hope that they did in fact decide to complete all 4 EP's believe Jordan likely committed most of his remaining time as a member to completing the 3rd EP/album. They should have paid Jordan as much money as needed to finish the album's production, with many of the songs Cervini managed to give equal quality production being ones Jordan actually was there for demo stages of. They wont die off without him for sure, but the production wont be impeccable and tailor made for them anymore either. Id also love to know what Fall Out Boy material you would credit for spawning Darkside. I dont necessarily agree with your takes, but I highly respect them, [after all you can tell someones telling the truth on their take if they admit to Die4u being good]
