A Wolf Tooth ReMote Light Action lever goes a long way to making the KS dropper more acceptable. That KS lever would suck on a butter smooth post, which the KS is not. I've only used Shimano breaks and my only complaint is how quickly Shimano organic pads glaze and then squawk. I have over a season on MTX Red Label pads and they are still quiet with great power and more modulation. Love my Ripmo AF.
I’ll definitely check that one out, I just got the PNW Loam Lever on my new hardtail and it feels great as well. Also am running the MTX Red Label on that bike, might have to get them for the Ripmo too! The AF comes with organic pads out of the box?
Thanks Tat, Ali makes these some of my favorite videos! He definitely isn't a true newbie, but he doesn't ride much outside of these videos. Plus that old Santa Cruz is super sketchy
Haha yeah I kept our conversation in mind, I feel like there is an opportunity to make the Ripmo super enduro-y or more trail as I change parts out...so we'll see!
Can't wait to see this puppy with 26c slicks on her! Congrats on the new bike!!!
Haha thanks, I'm thinking some S-Works Turbo tires will roll well at mountain creek!
Yoooooo, the checks are clearing from the new job! Lol Best see the new rig at creek or wherever when the weather gets warmer!
Hahahah you're right! Can't wait for a bike park day on this one!

Yes Yes Yes
Shimano brakes are just so vastly superior to pretty much any garbage made by sram
